Jake--On March 17th, a very important Pug passed away...PerryPinkster's beloved Jake, please take a moment to read the paragraph below--

Josh Billings once said that a dog is the only creature that doesn't put itself first. And that is true. You are adorable, lovable, honest, loyal, cute, funny, snorty, snoring, and playful just like any good dog, but that fact that your a dog means more than you could ever imagine. God truly made dogs to be mans best friends...God Bless You..and I know you are sleeping with the angels that held you in their arms in your final hours on Earth. God Bless WI's members, staff members, all people in the gift exchange department, you, PerryPinkster, and all members of the Pugs Club Thread. Rest in Peace Jake~ MegMeg

lol KarenC! Mia today got in trouble again! She has torn through her balls we got her for Christmas, and we ran out of her favorite treats! Yesterday she was so jealous of my visiting baby cousin Lily(whom we call "Lilypop"), and was snuggling all up to us like she DESERVES to be pampered; *sigh* the life of a pug...

Just imagine 2 or 3 pugs in the same house at once. A few summers ago a friend came an stayed at our house and pug sat all 3 of our pugs while we were on vacation. She brought along her pug. Sometime during the week her and her boyfriend packed up our 3 pugs and her pug and took them to her boyfriend's parents house who have 3 pugs of their own. Can you just imagine 7 pugs in one house all at the same time??

I had to make a trip to PetSmart tonight to buy the girls their treats that they were out of!! I guess we can say my pug babies have Mommy well trained!!

It sounds like Mia is the Queen Pug in your household. In my house we joke Gretchen is a Princess and Regina is a Princess in Training!!

LOl, well in my house here is goes:

Mia--top dog, queen, princess, whatev-she is the alpha dog in the pack(alpha pug's more like it

)

Lulu-chihuahua; she acts like our "knight" in shining armor....When it comes to barking at the doorbell and slaying a few fire ants...

Shelby-mutt; she was the queen and now has retired and become a duchess per say. She had to give her throne to that (in her words/thoughts), "mutt of a pup" Mia, she also becomes quite a warrior at night too, devouring and killing anything in site, may it be a spider or your foot that(since she has bad vision; after all she is 12) she thought was an oversized bald squirrel.

Tori-calico cat; She's a prowler all-right. She is the wise ruler of the land and is always sly and sneaky, whether or not its sneaking through the dog door so Mia doesn't sieze her, or simply stalking a mouse, she's a valuable allie.

Frankie(gil)-turtle; she just sits in her tank outside, but is always a good listener. She also has a habit of giving you good luck, just as long as you don't get superstitious and throw coins into HER tank.

Does Mia curl tight up against you at night?? Regina has to be tight up against me when we go to bed. Lately since it is cold outside she curls up tight against me under the covers!! Gretchen likes to sleep under the covers also but I think she gets to warm because she doesn't stay under the whole night!! Who needs an electric blanket when you have pugs to keep you warm!!
