Aibowers - That is the exact reason I only had 2 kids. Then when I got my pups 4 1/2 years ago, I had a few sleepless nights and confirmed that I had all I needed. I hope you get rested up and that headache of yours decides to take a detour.

Kigz - I am so jealous you got to look at that handsome man for 2 hours. I must go do the same. I just don't know when. It will be soon. My DD really wants to see it as she read all the books last Christmas.

CT - I think you need to get a flashing light and bull horn so you can carefully cross that road. I am starting to worry that you will be rolled down the aisle in a wheel chair with broken legs for your wedding. Just make it a habit to stop there everytime and assume the driver is not going to stop. I am glad Monet is so happy and the string thing sounds like a blast.

Nicoly - How lady? What are you up to? How is the shoulder today?

Bettyv- How grand you must feel now that that thyroid is behaving with a little help from those meds. My neighbor tried to have a baby for 8 years and could not get pregnant. She found out she had a few tumors on her thyroid but the drs said not the reason. Finally, she found out each tumor was acting as if it were the thyroid and producing hormones and such. They removed it because of the many growing and the size. They put her on meds and 2 months later! Surprise! She was pregant. He is now 9 months old and an angel.

And finally!!!! Happy Birthday PrettyIrishGirl! I am also a November baby. Mine was 11 days ago. I love this picture I am going to add. Please take it with the humor it was intended. I think it is cute but I guess it could be offensive to some. Really, though, it makes me laugh. I hope you are loved beyond today.

But first I have to say. Baby girl stole her sissy's babydoll stroller and is going to town. She loves it. She has also confiscated one of sissy's tee shirts I thought to sleep in, but it fits her. LOL

Wow after my absolutely horrific week last week and not being able to check up what was new it's taken me quite a while to read through all the lastest post and get caught up!!! Wow it's so nice to hear such wonderful things from so many wonderful people.
CT even though I knew the outcome your story kept me in suspense. I laughed, cried and almost fell off my seat. Bravo Bravo Bravo. Please let us know how it goes with your concert! Love the kitten!
Aint kids fun, Aibowers!!! Mine also loves to wake up through the night just in case shes missing something. Love the stay in bed it's thursday doggy pic. Hope you do get a new camera for christmas it's hard to have kids and no camera. I'd also love a copy of the newsletter on long-term projects please.
I hate parent teacher conferences I always feel like i'm the one on trial lol.

It is a dreary day here in IL - I am making my own sunshine in the K class today to read and listen! This is my once a month volunteer adventure where I absolutely LOVE getting in trouble for having a good time! HA poor teacher. Today I am reading the First thanksgiving (picture version) and dialoging about thankfullness. I cannot wait to hear what/who they are thankfull for! My contribution in thanks will be for my PAWS Thread friends, (they will not know about the online portion) okay, I cannnot continue because I put on eyemake up this a.m......

I know it is a very busy week for each of you, so we won't get to see each other here that much Please know I am thankful for our friendships and the unconditional support I witness each + every day here. A tiny community with so much generosity on so many levels.

I'm sorry for your terrible week Shichi, hoping this one is much better.

I am starting out the week with a sick child; upper respitory stuff and a slight fever since Saturday. Hopefully she is back to her healthy self soon.

I've got a feeling we are getting into a busy time of year for PAWS members; I hope everyone keeps checking in as they are able!

LOL I loved the gerbil-cake pic for Irish! hahaha!!! I know, it's crazy how careless people can be on that road!! Just a few more weeks and I'm outta here though!! LOL, if I were to be rolled down the isle I'd still be getting married! That's what counts!! As of Sunday Monet went back home with my mom and is playing (and making mischief) to his heart's content! teehee!

Thanks so much!! The concert was a breeze after that recital, rofl!! Teachers don't like the parent-teacher conferences either!! Lemme tell ya, I've had to sit-in on them (with permissions of course) and I felt uncomfortable just being an on-looker!! I'd really like making those calls "Your child is such a joy to have in class!!!" rather than the other side of the coin! LOL, can't wait until I'm a parent though...I'll be able to talk with the teacher having a background in education myself! teehee!! Nothing will get past me, NOTHING!!!

Guess what is coming this week?! OHHHH YAAAAH, tomorrow is my last day of classes for the week! lol!

My sister, BIL, and niece are coming laaate Wednesday evening. I'm excited to see them, I feel like it's been forever even if it's only been a short while!

The concert was an easy performance, and I'm glad it's all over! Three more hours of internship credit, 2 more hours of tutoring...a few tests, and viola! I'm done here in this town! Next up - student teaching!

Wedding Planning Stresses:
Mom's still trying to delay my wedding. I told her that it's going through no matter what, and she just kinda said "hmph" in that "we'll see" sort of way. She is, however, planning for it. She gets excited when she starts working on the flowers. I just wish she'd STAY excited about it.
I asked her if over the christmas break I could take three of my bridesmaids (since they'll actually be in town for a change) and go looking for a dress for them. I also asked if we could go during that time and find MY dress. All she said was "Oh...I guess." My DH2B had a snag in his school-plans and may be in school a bit longer, and she's upset that I'm not waiting to get married. Am I getting worked-up over nothing, or should I be concerned that she keeps trying to delay it? I understand that she didn't wait and wants better for me, but she was married at nineteen! I'm going to be 24! That's a big difference, right?! Esp. since we've been a couple for so many years! I dunno what to think.
I've already given up on having the wedding I want. I'm tired of fighting. I just looked at my mom and said "You know what? ONE DAY is not worth this. Just do it yourself, but don't ask for my opinion unless you honestly want it. I wash my hands of this."
The only thing that I WILL choose is my dress. At least that I get the choice on, I will not accept help financially at all on it either so that no one can hold it over my head.
They (my mom, sister, and aunt) tried to choose my DH2B's groomsmen, and I put my foot down. I got chewed up one side and down the other, there was yelling and tears, but dang it they are NOT going to reel him in like they did me. He gets to have HIS day at least. I eventually won that battle, simply because they finally gave up themselves...I was not budging. I still get griped-out about it from time to time, but they can just get over it because the answer is now "he's asked them, and they've already said yes."
Ugh - so many stresses, and although I look forward to my sister coming she forgot how awful it was for her and her wedding when she told me "never let anyone tell you what you HAVE to do"...now she teams-up with my mom. Ughh...lol. At least my DBIL says "ignore it, and do what you want." LOL HE remembers!!!

Anywho, I hope everyone has a great day, and I'll try to get on once more before thanksgiving! <3

hi everyone..just eonderign how many of us are having issues with their computers getting bugs? i am had a horrific week trying to sort it all out. wondering if maybe thats why it's so slow around here?

Been a little busy elsewhere but just wanted to pop in and wish everyone here a good holiday of feasting and thanks. I'm not going to try and play catch up on past posts. I welcome all new members and hugs and salutations to old members. Don't forget the black friday sales! Last year we had an awesome time fueling our Paws addictions by finding all the great buys and passing them along here for everyone . So far the only great buy I can find is Walgreens single kinz(9.99 each) Bogo- double packs excluded! I'm fine basically fighting germs and a few "minor" health issues that aren't getting me down ! Just can't wait until DD's big day in Dec. When she becomes an official teen! We will be seeing "team jacob" of course! Lol!! Poor DH! That and a week long celebration of shopping and bday parties I'm hoping he still loves me!! Rofl!! Ok! Getting late here and more drs. Apt tomorrow! Peace!

I haven't read posts here in a while until a couple days ago. So it's good to see you and hear you all are doing well. BIG BIRTHDAY WISHES to your daughter! HAVE FUN!!
