Hope everyone is well! I really wish that I had that Brown Horse Webkinz in that avi above this post. It is so pretty! :fp: Becca | | | | 11-11-2008, 09:29 AM | #503 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Nov 2008 Posts: 202 | Re: Parents Addicted to Webkinz I am in the early stages of my addiction... My oldest daughter got a for her birthday about 6-8 weeks back...
And of course, I helped her make kc to buy things she wanted. Did some googling and found recipes, tips on some games to try, etc... (Found a couple games I can "earn well" at and also enjoy playing, and discovered it has a therapeutic effect on me.)
Now, my other two girls want webkinz for Christmas... of course this makes me think I should get my own so I can earn kc to be able give them all gifts in WW... so after finding them on Ebay, I bid on like 52 million auctions last weekend. Since I am still strong enough to enforce limits on myself in trying to be budget conscious, I only won a couple, but also snagged a couple with a buy it now option from the same seller that worked well with combined shipping...
But I can already see the danger ahead.
Heard somewhere on here something about Walgreens selling lil'kinz with a red cares tag (saw them on Ebay also, what's the scoop on those?), so I am going to hit my local on the way home to see the deals/selection.
Should have my first four webkinz in hand by the weekend, can't wait to register one (or two) of them... | | | 11-11-2008, 09:51 AM | #504 | cbbjmom Webkinz :) Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 5,222 | Re: Parents Addicted to Webkinz The walgreenr are for a foundation for kids, portion of sales benefit. you get a special turn wheel-button to play 5 times and a random ww user will get the same prize you do. we got a jacket, cookie, and hat once. good cause.

[quote=bennysmommy1;11491167]Shoes? Did I Hear Shoes?!! atleast your husband wears gym shoes. mine has a brand new pair last year he wore for 1 hour in parents vs. kids basketball.that and ,1pair each workboots, landends slide on leather shoes. He just dosent get it just because I have black pumps dosent mean they go with Everything! lol. we have to have different heel height! sorry shoe humor! another addict. he calls me amelda marcos You heard correct - SHOES SHOES SHOES - They are almost as addicting as Webkinz for me. When we first got married, and before, I would buy my shoes in one of every color. I had 84 pairs at one time (not counting my everyday shoes that were kept in the laundry room)- oh the days. YOu know how important it is to coordinate, so when you find a pair that is comfy, cute and the perfect heel size, buy one of every color!! Even if there are 10 colors Well, now I'm lucky to buy a couple pair a year; with kids whose feet are already larger than mine and my husbands, Oh yes, son in size 13 and daughter in size 10 and both still growing, I can't afford shoes like I use to. Anyhow, don't you think my hubby would appreciate my sacrifice and not complain when I buy a pair now??

I think the room help was a great idea BUT I thought (and I think this would be better) that we would have the OPTION of being able to use that if and when it wouldn't take our room name. That way we could still have the ability to come up with witty names.
GANZ please listen to us, we play all the time and know better than most how things will work better. Last edited by tiffsmom; 11-11-2008 at 11:42 AM.. She had about 80 pairs of shoes when we first got married and moved in together. It was like ok I have 5 or 6 pair and say wow you have alot and know I understan. Ha guess who got anohter webbie. You know me to well. My wife says I need to go shopping so I said, I will go with you. We go all over and then hit the walgreens. I go back and look at the webbies and find a cool little persian cat. It was the only one left. I told my wife that little girl snowball needed a good home. So she is sitting next to me and bugging me to sign her on. Well I cannot say no to my own daughter so do you think I can tell snowball I will not sign her up today. Well talk later. Rember

Shoes shoes shoes, oh my! That is the one thing I haven't ever been a collector of, I hate shoe shopping, I am one of those oddball ladies that prefers my stinky running shoes, the more wore in the comfier! But don't worry I have more than made up for my lack of shoe collection in other things I am an avid gardener and I collect weird plants, and nothing gets me going more than a challenge. Ok, too much info I know I know...
Anyhow, went into the city again today, that consignment shop I took the kids clothes too--I had a $30.00 credit so guess who know has logged on some more figurines, ok, so now I only have 20 more to have all I need! 20 who the heck came up with these crazy figure counts anyhow! 20 more at 3.50-4.00 ouch!!!! Oh well why complain I know I will be buying more so ...I also grabbed the bulldog for Jan. I knew not to get crazy hubby came in and caught me on ebay last night *click that little x as fast as humanly possible*--
We were talking my shipment of the last order should have arrived today but being a holiday...anyhow I was mentioning how my sons new ones should be in and my dh, looked up at me with eyebrows raised and said "...." (sons name) or yours? OH, k yes mine. He then told me he is going to build me a shelf to put mine up so the kids dont' get them sticky with lolipops or jelly! And he asked me if I had found that pink dragon I wanted Ladies and gentlemen, does this mean he is accepting my new hobby??? Yay! Lol. | | | 11-11-2008, 02:41 PM | #510 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Nov 2008 Posts: 202 | Re: Parents Addicted to Webkinz You guys probably know all about it, but JC Penney has like six different Webkinz for $9.99 on their website. That is cheaper than any I saw at the "Limited Too" site, where they all seemed about $6.50 higher for the Webkinz (as opposed to lil'kinz) even though there were a lot more to choose from there...
Worth a look, maybe?
