Well I suppose I sleep with my leopard only for the sake of who it represents....my deployed DH. Anyhow, I can't be , cuz I miss him so much and I suppose I use that webbie more than just as a furry friend...I suppose my leopard is also my security blanket! Boy did that sound pathetic...LOL! Changing gears...I am really hoping that once Webkinz is up from doing maintenance...there will be some more Halloween items...perhaps some costumes....I am sure all of the addicts in here are eagerly awaiting...

Luvmylurecas.....No, you do not sound pathetic. You sound like a woman who loves her husband very, very much. And yes, with WW being down since 7am this morning, there had better be some new Halloween items!

I think it is GREAT that can help fill the void that is there now that your DH is away. When I went through a particularly rough time in my job (long before Webkinz was ever dreamed up) I had a stuffed bunny that I used to sleep with at night that would make me forget all of the bad things that were going on at work each day. Just having that bunny in bed with me at night seemed to keep away all of the nightmares that my work-stress was giving me! So, enjoy your quiet time with your leopard, and we'll all send lots of and good wishes for the safe return of your DH soon!

Aloha, I would love to join this club. My name is, Iuki and I am a 63 year old or young Grandma, that has the same addiction everyone else has.

My Grandkids got me started about three years ago. I love pigs, so my first Webkinz was Lousqueal and lil kinz, Hammi Faye Bacon. I just fell in love with Webkinz and all the things in Webkinz World.My husband just laughs at me, but does feed my adiction. I am at home all the time, and on-line with my little furry, feathery, scalely friends. My Grandkids, don't seem to be too interested in their Webkinz anymore, so I now take care of their accounts.

I got my nieces and nephews, into Webkinz now. They love them. I do take care of theirs, when they are in school and college. I also got my other Grandkids and GreatGrandkids, on Webkinz, as well, my kids just smile. I have 14 Grandkids, 3 GreatGrandkids and 5 nieces and nephews, 5 kids, which only 2 of them are Webkinz lovers. I take care of all their accounts

I really enjoy playing the games and decorating their little homes. My family is scattered all over the states, so when my Grandkids and nephews and neices are on line we get to visit each other through Webkinz. It fills in the empty areas. I have no problem telling people about my addiction, if they want to laugh, let them. It could be worse. I have met some really great people, because of Webkinz. Several adults and the kids, they great.

I would like to say, proudly...."I AM ADDICTED TO WEBKINZ".....:fp:

I also tend to buy the webbies in groups of three (one for each of my kids, and one for me!) My Hallmark has been running a deal lately where you get a free figurine with every $20 webkinz purchase - so buying 3 webbies nets me two figures, which I give to my kids, but we log them on to my account since I have the collector shelf!

The last time I went to the Hallmark store, though, my kids were with me and we were all talking about which Webbies we wanted. I tried not to make it obvious that I was buying a Webkinz for myself, but my kids were not so subtle, and they were loudly suggesting which one I should buy for my account. When I went to the register, the cashier mentioned how great the figurine deal was, and I said "Yeah, the kids are excited about it." and she said "Looks like the kids aren't the only ones that play with Webkinz - I overheard that you have an account, too?" I was so embarrased, I just mumbled "Yes" and then I finished my transaction and got the heck out of there. *Sigh* Sometimes it's hard being a parent who still likes to play like the kids do!

Oh, and Luvmylaurecas, I do not sleep with or carry around my plushies, but they are all out on top of my dresser and nightstand in my room, and some that I have not logged on yet are sitting in my home office on the shelf over my computer, so they are all close by in case I need to hug one! LOL!

I too have been 'outed' at the cash register by my kids.... It's a small town and now I only go to 2 cashiers to buy webbies.... they are discreet and subtle.... usually double bagging them.... lol. The story has been known to ask me what they should order.

Walgreens coupon good on Friday and Saturday. Buy 4 Lil Kinz @$6.99=$27.96-$5.00=$22.96 plus tax. That comes to $5.74 per pet! And here is the coupon. And you can use 2 coupons if you want to buy 8 new pets, etc. Sorry my canadian friends.

Thanks for the coupon lashes. I suppose this will be a webbie weekend for our house. I also got a coupon in the mail from our local Hallmark store...same type of coupon. The store moved locations and is letting their customers know of the new location. And boy do I go nuts when we have stocked up Limited Too bucks. Roughly 2 months ago I used $120 in Limited Too bucks. Of course some the "bucks" were used on my daughter for school clothes; however, I can tell you there were 5-8 new webkinz in those bags too!

I don't sleep with any of my Webbies because I sleep with a stuffed doggy. Her name is Dimplets and my husband bought her for me on our first Christmas together, almost 26 years ago. She has been eveywhere with me: Our Hawaiian honeymoon, a couple of cruises, every vacation, to the hospital for the birth of both my kids, camping, conferences......it can be a little embarassing, but I can not sleep without her.

As for my Webbies, they are all lined up in my bedroom on the dresser. I have an emotional bond with each one of them, but not as stong as the one with Dimplets.

You see...that is why I feel so comfortable in this forum!! Tiffsmom...I am like that with my leopard webkinz. Granted...the love for this little guy is fairly new (not even a year yet). I will have to let you know if it changes when my hubby gets home...My guess..probably not! I have 2 arms. One to hold my hubby and the other to hold my leopard. What a blessed world we live in.

What does everyone think of the December webkinz? I really want that brown cow!!!
