Welcome to the paint tutorial! Made by meow0628. Only on WI! Now, lets get started!

　

1. First go to paint. [link]

2. Zoom into 8x

3. Use the smallest paint tool and draw an outline [link]

4. Color the outline with a different color [link]

5. Get a slightly lighter color [link]
Colors > Edit Colors

6. Shade like this [link]

7. Keep changing and shading and it should come out like this:

8. You can right click and save my final pic and 8x! Then you can see how detailed it is... "meow!" (I also added some extra shading on the outline but did not put it on here since I am the worst tutorial person in the world. )

When you paint, take your time. They tend to turn out better when you do.
The zoom-in button wants to be your friend. Use it often for more details.

Use the WI webkinz avatars as templates for drawing animals till you know what your doing!

Tip By Leaf:


It's best if you test out your shading skills with a minor and simple shape. Start out with the main and boldest color, outlining it once on the inside outlines. Double click on the color that you were using, and then tune it up a bit slightly to another color and begin outlining in the original color. if the color blends in with the original color, then you know that you're shading skills are fine. Repeat this over and over again, until you fill the shape.

I have a tip! To make text, click on the button with a picture of an "A". To make the background see through instead of white, click the button that has shapes with a little dotted square around them, at the bottom of the toolbar.
