Ok now it's time for my rant about iCarly.
I must admit, the show was TERRIBLE at first. Miranda's acting was just wow, um, horrible? Everything seemed so forced with them. I watched the show from the very start up until now. It seems like every episode now a days has some type of crude humor thats funny in a way, but stupid in another. I still watch the show and its one of my "favorites" I suppose. But honestly I just think its a weird concept. Like the whole web show thing. It's sorta nerdy to me. It seems like every episode I'm think ok is this going to be another dumb or love crazy one, but somehow I've managed watching it. *sighs* I don't know how long thats going to last though.... me being a fan of it. But thankfully, I think ALL of the cast members acting has improved a lot, so thats good. But sadly, I think that iCarly just won't compare to Drake and Josh or the Amanda Show. Those shows were truly amazing and with iCarly I'm not feeling the same way. But I mean, at least iCarly is better than some shows on Nick

One thing about iCarly that makes me mad is Sam. Yes her character is the loud and always hungry some what bad girl. She doesn't give a care about anything, which is the problem. She never does her school work and complains a lot about others. Especially Freddie's mom. In many episodes not only does she talk bad about her to Freddie. She will also say things to her face!

What I'm getting at is being rude isn't funny.

I don't think the show is as inappropriate as, say, Degrassi, but I think it might be too much for Nick, especially since I know of people as young as 6 watching the show! It actually does air on TeenNick, along with the others that you mentioned.

I have only watched a couple episodes of iCarly, but the only good thing I have found in the show is that the girls aren't overly girly. They are just...themselves. One main thing that annoys me about Disney Channel is the fact that every girl is pretty girly (some more than others), there are no tomboys, no scene kids, no kids who just aren't trying to be something they aren't... and when characters like that show up, they portrayed as freaks.

Now,for my rant about iCarly:
Ok,first of all the character Carly is so self centered and sassy. She kinda only cares about herself and she tortures anyone she doesn't like. It's ok to hate someone,but you shouldn't torture them,like seriously. Next,most of the episodes are about dating guys and some type of "relationship"and it kinda get's boring.Why can't they just come up with something else?? Also,they're jokes and pranks are HORRIBLE! I can't even remember when I last laughed watching that show. I mean,Drake and Josh was HILARIOUS,but when Drake and Josh got cancelled and got replaced by iCarly........they made it stupid and sometimes I notice that iCarly uses some jokes and pranks from Drake and Josh and making them stupider... Next,they're are some "Not Child Approved" topics like when Sam and Carly go to "Build a Bra" and when Sam threw the football at Spencer's.........and when Spencer made the Golf coarse and Spencer putted the ball into the guy's.........Also,when Sam said "Crap" in the iThink They Kissed episode.

I'll be honest, I kinda liked some of iCarly's older episodes (like, first 5-ish), but it has just turned into a bad show. Again, like the inappropriate topics it shows/discusses, the almost swearing, it's just bad. And I used to like it for its randomness, but it just turned into corny, bad humor. Why can't they have one episode that isn't about relationships, dating, boys, or something that will affect the webshow? And they air it all the time. It gets so boring after a while.

Oh, and the characters are stereotypes, if you ask me. Carly the 'nice' one with an attitude and is occasionally rude. Nowhere near 'nice.'
Sam is just annoying. And guess who has the same name and nickname as her? (ughh) I really can't stand her personality.
Freddy, the geek/nerd who always gets picked on. This has been done so much on TV, it's no longer funny.

Really, the only character I like is Spencer.

It was bad to replace Drake and Josh with this.

Probably the worst iCarly episode is the one where she dated that bad boy. At first she thought he was terrible then after awhile just went full on and all they ever did was make out! EWW!

Also she really only liked him because he was "bad" She had him as a boyfriend for all the wrong reasons! Then at the end she just broke up with him because he collected stuffed animals. There is nothing wrong with collecting. OK it is kinda weird but the way she handled the situation was just horrible. She had to right to do that!

So in that episode she taught kids that dating is cool even if you don't like the person or if they are a criminal, and if someone has an unusual habit than you should brake up with them because it isn't "cool".

I couldn't agree more! I feel so bad for Freddie and him mom. she taunts Freddie constantly and then they move on like its no big deal. Do those people know what a bad influence that is towards kids? I just don't get it. Freddie and his mom, I think need to stop just "shrugging it of their shoulders and really stick up to themselfs! And a real parent or someone should start taking action towards her behavior, because its not acceptable. Obviously her mom isn't doing anything about it.
