The "I MISS THE OLD NICKELODEON!" Club **UPDATE: GRAPHIC DESIGNING CONTEST NOW OPEN!!!! MEMBERS OR NON-MEMBERS!!**

OK, is it just me or has Nickelodeon REALLY gone downhill the last few years? I've seen a couple of polls, and it seems like a lot of other people agree. So this is a club for all those fans of the old Nickelodeon out there. I was a huge fan when I was a little kid, watching the old shows they no longer play. If you want to join, just post "I'm in!" or something along those lines here, I don't need anything fancy. Any suggestions, feel free to post or PM me!
List of Things I Miss:
~THE SPLAT LOGO. Oh, how I miss the iconic splat. When they changed it, I got so mad. And to change it to something as boring as bubble letters that spell out "Nickelodeon"? Really? What is the point of that? I have yet to see a single person who likes the splat. It's so bogus. OK, splat rant is over.
~The Amanda Show. It was my favorite show when I was younger and then earlier this year they played it on The N and I watched it and then I remembered how much I loved it, it's SO FUNNY. And Amanda's kind of making me mad, too, she used to be weird, now she's going all normal and mainstream on us. (She's still my favorite actress though. )
~All That. I watched it for both casts, and they were both good, but I think I liked the first one better. That show was SUPER FUNNY, and after all, there'd be no Amanda Show without it.
~Drake & Josh. That was the last good show Nickelodeon played, I loved it! Drake Bell and Josh Peck are awesome, they should at least do a movie together if they can't bring back the show. And Miranda Cosgrove is way better evil than nice. XD
~iCarly, up until about a year ago. It was a good show when it first started, really funny in a totally random way. But now it's kind of weird, it's like the writers are getting bored and just ending the episodes completely openly. They're not even that funny anymore, and too boy-crazy.

**UPDATE**
We now have ten members, so I'm officially opening the OFFICIAL OLD NICKELODEON CLUB OFFICIAL GRAPHIC DESIGNING CONTEST! The contest is open to anyone who is good at this photo-editing graphic-designing stuff (cause I'm not!), members or non-members. The contest will be open for two weeks, so it will close on November 20th, 2009. Entries should be original, have to do with Nickelodeon, look cool, and be posted as a reply here, with the words "GDC entry, *your username here*" written under it. If you want to make more than one, that's fine, too. After the contest closes, I'm going to open a poll in the "Head to the Pollz" thread so everyone can vote on which one they think is best. Voting for your own entry is also acceptable. The poll will probably be open for two weeks and then the winner will be decided. The winner will receive the following prizes:
*their picture as our club's official banner
*their picture in my siggie (at least for a while)
*500 WI Bucks
*the pride and joy of winning (:

I wish NICKELODEON would bring back “All that” and stuff like that but I guess the kids that use to be in that show ARE kinda old now. Like Drake Bell and Amanda Bynes are like in their 20s now…
But really, they should still show those kind of shows :]

i'll join! I like teen nick( like icarly, true jackson, and that stuff) .but the cartoons, aren't that good, i mean have you seen the commercials for their newest show called chumchum and fanboy or whatever

i know! i don't get nick anymore, but i watch it at my grandparents! it's really gone downhill! i miss the old nick!!!! (i go to my grandparents every week)
