Still on summer break... and I am STILL bored! we had a tornado warning last night, though... it was fun and scary at the same time! Of course, it went away after awhile (everything was fine) but the power kept blinking out... like, literally, every 5 seconds, the power would blink, and my computer's power supply would go "BEEP BEEP." then 5 seconds later, "BEEP BEEP." It drove me nuts

That's scary. It happened to me a few weeks ago.

I'm suppose to be reading for Summer Reading but I don't feel like it. I have the next 2 months to read 16 hours so I think I'll be ok.

Summer reading? I don't have any books I'm required to read this summer, but I'm trying to finish up the last Percy Jackson book... but of course I'll have to go to my tutor over the summer, so I have to learn, anyway.

I don't have to read any specific books. It's summer reading at my library. The only thing my parents make me read is text book.

we had a tornado warning last summer, and tornado's are not supposed to happen in the mountians! And, to add to the irony, I was at a school like event, and we had just been learning about tornado's in school

I don't have summer reading but I love to read so If I did it have it, I would be ok, as long as I got to read my books not non-fictiional books.

I live near the edge of tornado alley(the place around the middle of the nation like texas, oklahoma and kansas where tornadoes are most common)
and i've been in several tornado watches/warnings. they were fun, but the tornado never got to our house. I've seen a mini-tornado on a sidewalk before, it was awesome. it was so tiny it couldn't hurt anything, it was only about as tall as a person!
and my dad was at this thing where there were booths and people were handing out paper, like info packets for some hospital fair thing or whatever, and there was a tornado over only one booth, and they woudn't have even been able to see it except that it ****** all the papers up in the air! xD
