*By adding the Australian Open title to the French Open, Wimbledon and U.S. Open crowns she captured in 2002, Serena Williams became the fifth player in history to hold all four championships at one time. Venus Williams is a home-schooler that has back-to-back wins at Wimbledon both in 2001 and 2000. Venus and Serena were both home-schooled and learned tennis at the early age of four. Their father, Richard Williams, is the son of a Louisiana sharecropper. He learned to play tennis by reading books and watching videos.

Club 'Jobs'

One person can't do all the work, now can they? So, we have some club 'jobs'. The 'job' a person has is next to their username in the members list. Some current available jobs up are...

1. Graphics Staff- Makes home-school graphics exclusively for anyone in the club to use. No limit of staff on this job.

2. Welcoming Committee- Welcomes new members and gives 'em a rep to say, "Thanks for joining!" No limit of staff on this job.

3. Contest Organizers (thanks turtles for the idea)- These people organize contests in the contest section (must be open to anyone who wants to enter), noting that the contest is hosted/sponsered by the Home-School Club. Up to 3 staff. 2 spots open.
