Hey, cool! I have purple and blue too! I love the braces colors an I hate the pain. I had pink and black and then she changed them at my last appointment! Advice for pain if the brace person dude gives you wax, use it! It is iseful in the long run, believe me!

Okay, I definitely agree! I'll add that to the front page.

When I first got my braces, someone told me to not use wax, so I didn't. My cheeks got so badly cut up that one day I just said, "I give up, I'm using it." & it helped sooo much. So yes, I agree, use your wax!

can i join? i've had braces for about two months. i have these wrap around bands on my 4 back teeth, and then things connecting my two lower back teeth, and then my four upper front teeth. i have purple and silver. also, Advil or Asprin works, too

Ouch, that's a lot. Purple & silver are my favorite braces colors!

thanks for adding me! it hurt when i got them on, and when i got them adjusted, but my friend (who had braces taken off two days after mine were put on) says that thye hurt the first few adjustments

Yeah, adjustments hurt...thus the pain I'm in today. I hate when they tighten them.

when i went, they sorta drilled a little bit between my two upper front teeth, so that the teeth next to them could move over.....

Owww, I don't even want to think about that. That sounds awful. I'm sorry.

At my orthodontist, we get little tokens that we can buy stuff with. I have over 100 now, so next time I'm going to buy a $25 iTunes gift card!

that's cool. i got this big welcome paket thingy with a shirt, balloon, and a bunch of teeth care stuff. and they have fresh baked cookies each time!

actually, it didn't hurt. it was funny, cause they mention a "preferated disk" and i was like "what?" but it didn't hurt
