That's cool and thanks. There are soo many now and the newest one they added is Rebecca.
My mom thinks she is the best. I am going to save up for a another doll so next year I can get it. I have Molly too!

Hey everyone! For December the character is Kit Kittredge.
She has a movie that you can get from americangirl.com in the store section. Other places like Walmart and Sams Club have it too. Her time was in 1934.
In her day many families couldn't afford to buy food or pay rent. So if they couldn't pay they would be kicked out of there house along with all there stuff. Most became hobos and stayed in hobo villages or maybe moved in with other family members.

What she discovers-Sometimes along with hard times comes good times

Something that changes Kits life is when her dad loses his job
Then her mom says that they have to start selling :bokbok: eggs.
Kit isn't happy and claims that it's the first step to becomming a hobbo. Plus the kids at school she believes will make fun of her. They also take in borders to help pay for the house.

Her most prizes possesion is her type writer. She hopes to get published one day. will that happen? You'll have to read the books to find out.

Her dogs name is Grace:bas:. Grace is a basset hound they find on the sidewalk.
Her owner got rid of her because they couldn't afford to take care of her.

OMG!!!!!! I have kit! I live in the same town she's from. and one time when i went to the cincinnati museam center with some friends. *this was a long time ago* my mom came to pick me up....and in my seat was......KIT!!!!!!! I was soooo excited! kit is AMAZING!
