Hello, fellow stitchpunks, and welcome to the Shane Acker's 9 Fan Club! This is the place where you can discuss the 11-minute short film that started it all, or the movie that premiered on September 9th, 2009. Before you post, please make sure to read these rules.

4. Please no bashing characters (Especially 8. Come on, just give the big guy a hug! ^_^)

And that's it for our rules. Now, just for the newer fangirls and fanboys, here's a list of 9 vocabulary that's often used by other aficionados of the film.

stitchpunk- the term for the ragdolls of 9.
Fab Mac- the nickname for the Fabrication Machine.
CSM- acronym for "Cat Skull Monster", what the Cat Beast was originally called before everyone found out its name.
DFM- acronym for "Doll Face Monster", A.K.A the Seamstress.
Pope Doll- the comical nickname of 1, because of his "Pope-like" clothing.
Angst Waffle- a pet name of 5, since the poor ragdoll can get very distressed when others around him get hurt.
skullmet- a combination of the words "skull" and "helmet", used to describe 7's helmet made from the skull of a bird.
Holy ink on a 6-an exclamation that originated from cute little artist 6 and his ink.
5X9, 2X5, etc.-these are pairings. A pairing is when two stitchpunks are paired together. If you "ship" a pairing, you support it. For example, you might think 2 and 5's friendship is really cute. That means you "ship" the pairing.

Nickname: wellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, this girl calls me 9 and 4. .. .. but I'm also called staples, morose, tiny, and sumthing else I FORGOT! XD
Who is your favorite character?: 1 is funny, 2 is cute, 3 and 4 are darlings, 5 is MINE(xD), 6 is my wil bro, 7 is a free bird, 8 da fat boy running for icecream he is (in other words, OBEY HIM O-O give him icecream) 9 is a guy who tries to be cool and slick, thats what makes him funny. I like all the characters.

Haha. XD I just sent a PM to both Beetlike and VanillaCalf about the club, so hopefully they'll join soon. >w< In the meantime, I'll be getting a character of the week type of thing started.

And now, about the character of the week...1 (yippidee doo-dah!).
Here's my opinion on him--

When I first watched the movie, my favorite character was 5. I thought that 1 was a flat-out jughead. >.< I really hated that he sent 2 out to "scout". And the second time I saw it, my favorite charrie changed..to 6. xD And 1 was still the pope-doll meanie. But the third time, I really started to like him...I mean, Christopher Plummer did an AMAZING job with the character, I think. So I started to cut 1 some slack...and now I cry when he dies. D: If that makes any sense.

Yeah, the last time I watched the movie, I ended up bawling when 1 died. I think 1's the type of character that the more you see him, the more things you notice and understand about him. He actually grabbed hold of 9 in the Winged Beast scene just before 8 caught both of them so little 9 wouldn't get hurt... x3 I thought that was really cute. By the way, some awesome person uploaded all of the deleted scenes from the movie on YouTube, and there's this one called "Taking the Offensive." It has some adorable 1x9 fluff, so I suggest you watch it if you haven't seen it yet. >w<

Yeah, I saw that. xD It was very cute, but I don't think that 1 is right for 9...in so many ways I won't even bother listing them. xD

Haha; I drive my teachers insane by doodling 1x9 everything on my papers. XD My math teacher thinks they're just "cute little dolls", but my history one gets all OCD over it. What pairings do you like?

Oh my gosh, did you see this one video on Youtube? I think it was called "The Many Screams of 9" or something. xP
