okay, guess what. So a couple of hours ago, I ran and got all of those songs and albums, typed them all out on the first post, took forever, and then when I clicked save, the whole flippin computer froze and the internet wouldn't respond. So..of course...it did not save. >[ I will attempt it again tonight if I get on.

I want to join! Though I may not be able to post much, LOL!
I have been a NB fan since I was a kid (quite a while back- ahem!). When I was 20 I got to meet Peter, Phil, Jody, Duncan, and Jeff b/c my roommate won backstage passes. They were so nice and took time to pose for photos and Peter asked us questions about where we were from and so forth. Such a great group of guys. I have an autographed photo and Peter's drumstick (which he handed to me from the stage right after his drum solo- I totally freaked) which is also autographed by him and Duncan, and my roommate and I sang every song, standing in front of Phil and when we met them after, Phil turned to me and said 'Hey, I know you! We sang songs together! Lots of songs!' I have photos of me with them, but they're 35mm, so if ever I get my scanner hooked up I'll show you.
And I have to say I am very, very sad Peter is no longer lead singer. Tait has some pipes, but Peter was THA MAN. I will miss him so badly. 'Sniff!' They don't quite seem the same w/out him!
For those of you unfamiliar w/ the Newsboys, they put on one of the best concerts I have ever been to. I have been to three total: Step Up to the Microphone (twice) and Love, Liberty, Disco. It has been THAT LONG since I have been to one of their concerts. Horrid, isn't it?! | | | |

Their Veggie Tales song is one of my favorites, that and 'Who' from their 'Shine: The Hits' album. The music video for 'Belly of the Whale' is on the Jonah DVD and is so cute, with the band members being their usual goofy selves. Loved it! | | | |
