Okay, well I don't know if I have it entirely right (only started the 1st ep), but it's pretty much about Toraji Ishida, a luckless high school Kendo instructor, who is challenged by his former upperclassman, also a kendo instructor, to a competition between their female students. The bet inspires Toraji to gather and train a team of five girls. And then a whole bunch of events happen and such and such.

Most of the VMs I got were asking a specific question. Back when I was a slow, unorganized typer, I could only handle those, I can handle all now.

Ooh, I read the whole Kitchen Princess series~ I can tell!

Okay. It's about this girl, Najika, whose parents were famous chefs. Her parents died, and when she was younger, this boy saved her life when she almost drowned. (I really don't want to call it a suicide attempt, because she was really young, but she did say that she wanted to be with her parents. Soo...) She wanted to find this boy, but the only clue she has is a silver spoon he left when he gave her flan. This spoon leads her to Seika Academy, where she is constantly 'bullied' by the other girls because she is in the special class and she has no 'special talent,' like the others. They are also jealous about how Sora, the headmaster's (is that the proper word? xP) son had done... something (fuzzy mind, haven't read these since August). Najika also encounters Daichi, Sora's brother. She thinks one of these boys is her 'Flan Prince,' as she puts it.

It spans 10 volumes.

One more thing:
