i dont think so.......the zangoz are smaller and on 2 feet, not the 4 legs the purple monster has...

They look a little bit alike. The Zangoz has 2 legs and the Purple Monster has 4. The Zangoz is smaller and the Purple Monster is bigger. The Zangoz doesn't have patches or those horn things on the Purple Monster's head. The Purple Monster has patches and those horn things on it's head.
