Question about strikes

I can't remember the term - what's it called when the pitcher throws the ball outside the strike zone? If you don't swing, it goes against them - 4 of them and you walk. But if you swing and miss it's a strike against you.

anyway, does that happen in this game? There have been a few times when it seemed that the ball was outside the box zone, but I swung anyway. I'm wondering if it wouldn't be a strike against me if I didn't swing at those.

Does anyone know?

No they dont have balls but they have strikes

That happened to me, and I play baseball with my 7 year old neighbor, so I knew the rules and didn't swing, but It counted it as a strike!

That's good to know. I was wondering the same thing. It seems like some of the pitches are impossible to hit, especially if you have the cursor at the bottom of the box for faster pitches. Oh well.

In real baseball and soft ball the passed balls are called balls.. A full count would be 3 balls and 2 strikes. the fourth ball you walk ( base on balls) or the third strike your out. You can be swinging or not, the umpire decieds if a ball or strike?

ive skipped some if the ''impossible'' balls and all it gave me was a strike
