Default Picnic Guide

I've gotten over 900 points on this game a few times (then Webkinz shut off on me v.v ) and what I do is play on the easy mode. Yeah it takes a bit longer to get the points, but it moves a lot slower than in hard mode. This way you do not get frustrated and mess up.

You can start out by going anywhere on the board, but as the ant line becomes longer I use a certain method. Think of it as a grid. You want to move in one main direction. As the line gets longer start by moving you ant line to the 2nd to the last grid line and move up. ALWAYS keep the outside border clear. This way you always have somewhere to go. As the ant line begins to fill the complete grid using the method I have explained will be your best bet. Keeping the outside clear helps you to be able to move your line back to the top and start the whole process over without running into other ants.

Tip: Only look at the FIRST ant, not the rest of the line. This helps you keep focused.

Tip: When your line is very long do not try and go for the food right away; if you use the method I have stated you will eventually get the food. This process does take sometime to add up the points, but you can keep going and going until the grid is totally filled.

Tip: When you want the ants to go onto the next line hit your arrow key a sec. before hand.

Tip: When your ant line starts to really fill up and a food pops up around the outside... LEAVE IT. You will always get more food and why chance getting that one food and messing up.

As you get more ants start putting them into the pattern/formation and stick to this. You do not want to try getting them back into a pattern when the line get super long or you can possibly mess up.

Just follow the line/arrows to understand the method I am talking about on which way to go. As you round the top corner when the grid starts to really fill the end of the line will be pretty close to the beginning of your line, but you will have that room to keep going a bit more before the entire grid (blanket) fills.

As you do this method a few times you will start to get the hang of it and it will become easier for you. You will start to see the pattern the ants are moving in

I hope this helps you out, but if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask me. I would be glad to help. ^^

This method would not work on the hard level, correct? There is only one food piece on the hard level and if that piece happens to be on one of the edges, it sounds like your game will end shortly if you have a long string of ants. I tend to play on medium and mostly hard levels on these games to legitimately challenge the high scores on these boards, so it sounds like i will try your plan on medium level.

It may work on the hard level as well. Using the last image shown, just go around using the last row on the left and the right (instead of the 2nd to the last as shown). You should still have plenty of room to keep going. ^^

I agree with Vegan, respectfully!!

It won't work on hard levels because the foods are all on the edges. Sorry!
