I got booted off mini golf for taking too long

I was playing Mini-Golf as the game of the day today.... the phone rang and I answered it, was on the phone for approximately 2 minutes.

Next thing I know, I look at the screen and there's a message saying, "You are taking too long to line up your shot. You must leave the game."

My score card showed up and then I got kicked off.

Today was the first time I played this game. Hmm, don't know if I'll be back. I don't like the invisible mouse.

Isn't golf a LEISURE sport? LOL!

LOL! if that happened in real life, then golf games would last about 5 minutes... I'm going to have to go on Webkinz and try that and see what happens...

Actually, you first get a warning and a one stroke penalty for slow play if you take more than one minute to make a putt. The message is something like, "the course marshall has penalized you one stroke for slow play".

I don't know if there is a second warning before you are ejected from the game -- I have never waited to find out.

By the way, you can take time off from the game between holes with no problem, at least for around 10 minutes, until the Webkinz World message asks you to decide to continue or log out.

Sorry this happened to you. Unlike many other games, Mini-Golf pays nothing until the game is completed, so getting ejected loses all the kinzcash earned.

This game can pay very nicely if you get good enough at it.
