i guess this is another secret tunnel thing. before, though, i could barely get par on this hole because of the pesky water pool. now i can get birdie almost every time. | | | 07-09-2008, 03:55 PM | #2 | 2uncleBert, Bert2466 Gift Guru Join Date: Jun 2007 Posts: 2,750 | Re: easier birdie on hole 18
That is very interesting!! There have been several rumors about these "secret tunnels".
You are the first person to ever post a picture showing the location of one of those in the Mini-Golf game.
Still, this does not help gain a stroke on the 18th hole. And I have another very easy method of getting a birdie that does not need any tricks.
Instead of going to the back hole on the first green, simply putt at 30-40% power directly into the lower front hole.
Then on the 2nd green, aim like in the picture below, with 60% power. The putt will bank twice right into the bottom hole. Then the 3rd shot will be from the same spot and same way that you showed. Simple.
Please look at the Mini-Golf guide that Justin and I have posted at the top of this section. It shows how to do holes 1 thru 14. I keep saying it, but I will finish this someday.

and, even though this one can't help to gain a stroke, i posted one about hole 16 that can help to get you an eagle. | | | 07-09-2008, 05:05 PM | #5 | Brian Matusz is Gifted Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 842 | Re: easier birdie on hole 18 Originally Posted by IagoParrot any advice for hole 17

Yup, that is the best way that I have found to get a birdie on #17 also.
It is risky, but I can do it about 95% of the time.
Here is a closer pic of that first critical putt. Aim exactly at the little notch in the bush and use full power. Your ball will bounce off of the right wall and as it goes up the ramp it will curl to the left to slip nicely down that shute towards the hole. Can't quite make it go into the cup for a hole-in-one, but the next putt is just a tap-in for the birdie.
Notice my score? Birdie here for 5 points and the same on #18 gave me a 105. I have done that many times now.

All you do is aim at full strength at the corner closest to you. It puts you on the second green, but only with one fan between you and the hole, not two. This will also only give you a birdie though. | | | 07-12-2008, 09:40 PM | #9 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Mar 2008 Posts: 220 | Re: easier birdie on hole 18 I have a VERY elementary question...how do I control the strength of the hit. When I need very little strength I get full strength and vice versa. | | | 07-13-2008, 01:07 AM | #10 | Brian Matusz is Gifted Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 842 | Re: easier birdie on hole 18 The closer your cursor is to your character the less strength you have. __________________ ♥February 8, 1997♥
