Maximum Score Home before Dark?

I just got the dreaded message that my score was too high and my kinzcash wouldn't be awarded. I had reached a score of over 20,000. My high score to this point was 18,078. I was quite upset about playing that long and not getting my 510 KC. Does anyone know the maximum allowed?
This happens when I play smoothie moves as well, but I know to watch and quit the game when I get in the high 70,000's.

I had no idea there where maximums although I suppose its a fail safe to prevent cheating. I would like to know HOW you get such a high score on home before dark. I think my max was like 8000. and Congrat on those scores btw
