Home Before Dark was my first favorite game (I also like Goober's Lab and Quizzy's Word Challenge).
I played today and got pretty high. My score was 9972 (level 13) and I earned 249 KC. Woo hoo! 
I think (but cannot prove it) that I have gotten to level 15 before, but I usually die around level 9, 10?? I have to remember to get rid of barriers so I don't get blocked in with no way out (that's how I usually die...although sometimes I run out of time).
Everyone keep on with the game. Try to connect as many houses together as you can before you connect to the park where the pets are. It really helps to get as many pets at a time as you can.
