Hide'n'Skunk is a game of logic. Using the numbers aroudn each square you can deduce where the skunks "miust be" and where they "can't be". The secret is you have to mark BOTH to keep making progress. And you have to move at a decent pace. Don't spend much time trying to figure out any one square. Just keep marking the skunks and clearing the empties, and come back to the tougher ones later. Usually by then they will be more obvous.

As others have posted, this is very similar to the Minesweeper game that came with Windows. Try using google to search on that game and learn all the tricks, which can be applied to this game.

I've played this a few time, but never gotten the trick of it. I lol'ed at brianwebkinz "stinking" at this - I'm with him!

I understand the concept, although have not played minesweeper, so don't have the previous experience. All I know is in skunk I will constantly run out of time on the first level.

Really, a tutorial or something in this new forum section would be incredibly useful to those of us skunk-challenged.
