I can only get past a couple of levels, but my advice would be to start at the corners. The places with ones and twos are the easiest.

I just click around and then HONK the skunk poofs in my face! That game is sooo not for me!! LOL

The game is hide n skunk, because that's what section it's in

Hide 'n Skunk is basically the same game as Minesweeper, which is on most computer loads. The major difference is that you don't blow up in Hide N'Skunk, but, if you step on a skunk, you can't continue for several seconds (presumably by the malodorous aroma).You have to guess the location of the skunk (like the mines) from the numbers that appear on the squares around it

For example, if you see

2 3 2
x x x
S S S

you know that you have a row of three skunks below (the first number means it touches two skunks, the second number touches three skunks, and the third number touches two skunks.

If you see

1 2 1
X X X

S 0 S

you know that you have a skunk under each 1 and the middle square touches two skunks.

It's a more forgiving game than Minesweeper because you can make a mistake but still complete the level.

All i know is there is a number and what ever that number is, is how many skunks there are around that number hope this helps

I'm not very good at Hid'n Skunk either, so unfortunately, I don't have any tips to share, other than to keep trying! You'll get it eventually!
