I've been checking out the recipes, daily activities ahead of time, and bits here and there of WI for a couple weeks. Really love the camaraderie (sp?) here and the helpful and kind people. I was also relieved to find that I'm not the only mommy hooked on the World of Webkinz.
Then yesterday for the first time, I ventured into the forum, to try to find more info on how to play some of the games better (the info on Webkinz is sadly lacking! ) So the first shocker is that I didn't even know you could win trophies in the games. The second shocker is that within 24 hours of reading about how to better play Goober's Lab and how to get a trophy, I GOT ONE!!!! (and btw, doubled my score.) My son was sooooooooooo thrilled (and ahem, of course, I was tickled pink).
The only problem is that now my son thinks it's all that easy for mommy to win and he wants the truck one (from Cash Cow). I'm trying and trying, but no luck yet. Guess I'll have to re-read that section and hit it tomorrow.
Oh, also within 24 hours of reading the forum posts: found two gems (we have 2 accounts) AND three charms!!! You guys are awesome!!!!!
Just had to write and thank all of you for being here, in such a warm and fun environment. The sharing and comments are really inspiring, and it's refreshing to have such a nice group of people helping each other, without being nasty or competitive.
So thanks everyone, and especially thanks to those of you who spent the hours and days and weeks and months compiling the Guides and various tips.

PS - what do you mean when you refer to the "European" and "Asian" accounts? Thanks! | | | 09-09-2008, 02:22 AM | #2 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 25 | Re: what WI did for us in 24 hours! Thanks, all! Hi! I have learned a lot from WI, too.
Two things... 1) The items that you can place on tables inside, you can also, place them on the outside tables. Heh! I accidently discovered that one;
2) Asian and European accounts are the time frames people insert when adopting a pet. Just as you selected North America, others set up Asian time and European time accounts, despite their actual, geographical location.

The Asian account is only worth it if you stay up very late or get up really early. (I learned this the hard way.) The cash cow trophy is easy but boring. Just try to build up as many of one color as you can (this only works in the 1st 3 levels so close it after that to save time.) Also, I did this for about 3 days and nothing and then accidentally clicked when it was half way up so it's either random over a certain number or a certain number exactly. I hope I helped a little, but I'm pretty sure I just made it more confusing. | | | 09-09-2008, 04:21 PM | #4 | Littlex3red Gift Guru Join Date: Jul 2007 Posts: 8,932 | Re: what WI did for us in 24 hours! Thanks, all! Cash Cow : You need to have 20 to 40 bottle tops of the same color for each click you do for the first 3 levels. --It is random per level whether you get the trophy or not from there. Only
play the first three levels so that you can play a faster game.
I did this for a weekend (when it was the game of the day and the next day) I got 2. People get a lot more, but I try to collect 2 of each then move on to the next.
It always helps to play them when it is the game of the day.
Congrats on the Goober Lab trophy that is my favorite. I have won a total of 19 of these and
have traded away most so that I actually have about 8 of them still... lol __________________ | | | 09-13-2008, 05:33 PM | #5 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Aug 2008 Posts: 185 | Re: what WI did for us in 24 hours! I took your advice and finally got the cash cow trophy. Are there any other moving trophies like Goober's Lab? My son loves the ones that move.
Thanks again.
