Somehow we got a trophy, but we didn't get a message telling us. It was just in the dock. I'm sure I would've noticed it during the game since I'm the only one that plays Goober's lab. I'm so excited!
I have no idea what level we were on or anything. Oh well, I guess I shouldn't complain since I've been trying for one for weeks! |   | |

That's great! Unfortunately, Goober's Lab is one of the games that awards trophies but doesn't alert you, so you have to finish the game and look in your dock to find out. Congrats!
Also, it doesn't matter what level - it's awarded randomly when you get five in a row. | | | |

I have seen a message "You've got a Prize" or something to that effect in the middle of the screen where it also may say "KinzCash Bonus". I don't know if it shows up every time you win a trophy though. I think that since you are concentrating so hard on your next move you don't always see it.

Ooo - congrats on the Goober trophy! Goober was my first, and he's given me most of my trophies. I definitely tend to miss the "prize" announcement; some of my trophies have stayed with my nieces because they find them in the dock before I do. The Goober trophy is my favorite because I like how the orb levitates and spins. It's a geeky thing, but it makes me happy.

Congrats!!!!! I'm pretty sure you always get the prize message when you win a trophy. Red Fire is right, you probably just don't notice it when it happens. My mom has gotten 7 or so trophies and always misses the message. Also, I almost never have the sound on when playing, so i don't know if Goober says it aloud, like he sometimes says, "That's a bonus," or just, "Bonus." And Cindymommy is right, you get the trophy after a 5-atom bonus. I won my trophies when a 5-atom bonus occurred spontaneously, not when I created one on purpose.
