Is it just me, or is Goober's Lab harder?

Maybe it's just me but it seems like Goober's Lab is harder since they made the latest round of changes. I seem to get stuck on level 7 quite often now (and I'm used to getting up to level 15-25).

Anyone else, or maybe my brain is just turning to mush?

Okay, maybe it's just me. I just did another game, and got to level 13.

I am not sure about hardy but I have not won a trophy in like 3 months. I know how and everything because I have won close to twenty total since starting Webkinz last year. I think Arte and Goober are both being stingy. Arte with the Egyptian rares, and Goober with his trophies. Oh well, I still get lots of KC from the game so I don't mind. Good luck with your future games.

Arte sure has been stingy, that's for sure - especially with the American accounts. Not only that but he doesn't offer much variety in the rares. The same things over & over it seems.

However, with Goober, I'm not so sure. I just won my 3rd trophy last night. I play it in spurts so not sure how it's been going with the trophies.

Yes, they have made Goober's Lab tougher to win KC and trophies. I use to be able to get to levels 25-35 on a regular basis. But now I seem to get the "no more moves" at levels 9-11. A lot less KC and no trophy for 2 months. I guess this is Ganz's way of saying if you want more KC go buy some more pets!

Thanks for the encouraging words. I don't intend to give up. I won 600KC playing that game once so trophies are just an extra little bonus. I would rather have the KC to spend on my Halloween rooms any day than a trophy anyways but it does feel good to see "You Got a Prize"

You are welcome - although I think lashes brought up a good point. I think GANZ is getting greedy. Awarding KC certainly doesn't affect their economy unless you don't go out and buy more of their things to ger more- like pets and TC etc.,
It is disheartening to see this especially in the E-store - a virtual pet should not cost as much as a plushie. And all the special items should be available in the W- shop or at least as Rares.
I do think the charm thing is a good idea, and those are at least reasonable.
But it is sad even Arte isn't dealing rares as I think he should be - I know they call them "Rare" for a reason, but come on this is a virtual world for "kids" ( even us big kids )

Just my thoughts on the matter.....

I was thinking maybe they retired the trophy. Haven't gotten one in 6 months!!!

I think it is a little harder these days. I never used to time out on a round, but it's happened recently. And I seem to run out of moves much earlier than I used to. I wish that this game didn't have that feature! Other games like it (Candy Bash on pogo) will give you a new screen if you run out of moves in the time allotted. (Of course, if Goober did that, I would probably never break free of my computer!)

I feel the same about Smoothie Moves...seems much harder to me after the last round of "improvements"...hmmmmmm

The game is getting much harder--I barely make it past level 6 or 7 now--I used to make it up to 15-20 most games. Yikes!
