Webkinz :) Join Date: Jan 2008 Posts: 97 | I know How to Win a Trophy I wrote to webkinz world with their automatic form and they wrote back telling me how to get trophies on all the games that have trophy's. On Goober's Lab all you have to do is use the swirly balls. Not the ones from when you get four balls in a row but rather the one you get from getting five in a row and that pop up randomly on the 4th level and higher. Mostly higher. I've found that if you move just as fast as possible during the first through the 3rd or 4th levels you will get more of the flashing swirly balls. Also you need to try to get four in a row balls and use them that helps to bring out more flashing swirly balls. One tip I found on the web is to stay near the top in order to get past the higher levels. Except when you see four and five balls. I do that more or less. But I do try to look above whatever balls I plan to use in order to see if there is any I should use first. Also if you manage to get a four ball swirly ball near the bottom row and it's already set up to use wait until you do a lot of pairings above it to help fill you beaker. Then if you run out of moves to make above but your beaker isn't full then you have a backup to help start the game again. Just make sure when you get near to the top of the beaker that you use it or you'll lose it. But that isn't too bad when you're still going on to one of the higher levels. Also saving one of the five ball flashing swirly balls to use later is good. If your lucky enough to have it clear all the same color balls instead of giving you 5 kinzcash. But you really want to use that one before the level is over because it might be the one that gives you a trophy. On a final note I've gotten several trophies and it does take a long time to get one. But the best part is that I've gotten one trophy on level six. So you don't have to worry about always getting to the really high levels. Except the higher you go the more chance you have to get lots of flashing swirly balls. Good Luck and happy trophy hunting.
If you feel like it I would like everyone who is starting Goober's Lab for the first time or (more likely) those who have just gotten a trophy to keep track of how many flashing swirly balls they use before they get a trophy. I use the method of scratch marks. I make a single mark for every flashing swirly ball I use during each individual level. To make it easy to count put every fifth mart through the first four. Also don't try keeping the numbers in your head for the whole game because you'll lose count most likely and we need accurate numbers if we want to determine the average number of balls it takes to get a trophy. I kept track on my nieces account and it took only 57 flashing swirly balls before I got a trophy but when I used my nephews account I got over 100 or so balls and I have yet to get a trophy. I do have the exact number of balls written down But I don't have it with me right now. I also need someone to do the math because I don't know how to do the math anymore. I used to know but well now I just don't. So if you want to help by counting balls I would appreciate it. Just leave the numbers in the comments. And anyone who wants to crunch the numbers just look at the comments. Thanks for all your help. I hope we can figure out just how many balls it usually takes to get a trophy. |
