FINALLY!

I swear I must have played Goober's Lab about a million times (only a slight exageration)... I played probably two dozen times last night and was still disappointed, no trophy...

I was looking through my dock this morning, however, and at the far end of the Objects section sat a pretty white Goober's Lab trophy!!! I didn't even notice when I got it (and I must have 'popped' dozens of shiny atoms so there's no knowing which one got it for me)...

Now, if I can just get that dumb cow to give up the goods...

This is hilarious - I went to play Goober's Lab one more time 'for old times sake' just now - and got another trophy! LOL

Wow! Two trophies that quickly is very lucky for you!! Congratulations on the wins!!!

I am a collector of trophies, although only ones that I win myself, and this is one of the very few that I have never been able to win. Once I get Go Go Googles, I will spend some time trying for it... Since the odds are the same as Googles, I think it'll be even more tough than I expect!

From what I can tell, this one is much easier than the Googles one - All you have to do is use the shiny atoms in a combo of 3 or more... The Googles trophy is more like the Booger math game where you have to get a 'set of things' (letters in "Googles" or checkmarks) to get a chance at the trophy...

I have the Booger one, I don't have (and may never get) the Googles one because I'm no good at catching the letters and the chance of getting one once you get the 'collection' is much lower in Googles...

Actually, the reason I posted that the odds are the same is because the odds ARE the same! The odds of winning the Goober's Lab trophy after using a 'sparkly' atom in a group is 1 in 400, and the odds of getting the Googles trophy after spelling "Googles" is 1 in 400! So they have the same odds. However, because most people are able to get more chances per game for Goober's Lab than Go Go Googles, the trophy is more common. I still can't get it, though!

AH, you misunderstood the odds comparison I was making - I was comparing Booger's math game to Googles because both make you 'collect a set' to get a chance at the trophy (checkmarks versus letters).

The chance once you get the checkmarks is better (1 in 50 I think) than the chance once you get the letters (1 in 400)... That's what I was comparing...

As for Goober's Lab being 'easier' than googles, you are right: the 'odds' are the same but the chances are more frequent in Goober's Lab so it is more likely to happen sooner...
