Does anyone know yet if this changes the way the trophy is earned? or the chances of being awarded one? | | | 12-06-2008, 11:36 AM | #12 | Gift Guru Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 2,444 | Re: Anyone else have Booger Gets an A change today? I play Booger every day and really don't like the changes. I think it does seem easier to get a trophy this way but I am earning less cash which is the reason why I play. I have been getting 2-3 trophies a day since the change. | | | 12-09-2008, 01:13 AM | #13 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Apr 2008 Posts: 175 | Re: Anyone else have Booger Gets an A change today? I always enjoyed playing the old game, although I usually only got to level 10 or 11 and earned about 120 KC. I guess I'm just glad to know that the game was speeding up and not that my brain-to-hand coordination wasn't slowing down... Anyway, I agree with those of you who said there are other things (like Balloon Darts) that needed fixing before Booger Gets an A should be messed with. It's really getting to where some of the games just aren't as much fun anymore, what with the glitches that have been happening with so much frequency, and the kids aren't enjoying it as much as they used to. | | | 12-09-2008, 02:19 AM | #14 | froschak Gift Guru Join Date: Feb 2008 Posts: 3,088 | Re: Anyone else have Booger Gets an A change today? You now earn more cash by clicking on more boxes for a number rather than less. Say if you had the #7 if you clicked 7 1's you get more points than if you clicked a 3 and 4. Hope this helps in the KC department. | | | 12-09-2008, 02:18 PM | #15 | Webkinz :) Join Date: Jul 2008 Posts: 92 | Re: Anyone else have Booger Gets an A change today? I think I like it better now. I used to get up to level 6 and freeze up because my fingers couldn't move as fast as my brain. or maybe my brain couldn't move as fast as my fingers. I have been trying to get this trophy forEVER so maybe now I will have a better chance. | | | 12-09-2008, 06:13 PM | #16 | icked Webbies Gift Guru Join Date: Sep 2008 Posts: 11,471 | Re: Anyone else have Booger Gets an A change today? Speaking of Booger glitches, this one happened to my son.
(please note the level and amount of stickers he has "earned")
He was SURE this would be the game that would earn him his trophy. Oops-he was wrong! | | | 12-09-2008, 10:04 PM | #17 | Gift Coach Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 6,619 | Re: Anyone else have Booger Gets an A change today? I just played the game - I hate the lower numbers and the changes....I wondered why my score was so low! Wonder too if this affects the trophy. Wish it would go back to the old way. | | | 12-10-2008, 07:48 AM | #18 | Blessed to be a Gift Guru Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 5,693 | Re: Anyone else have Booger Gets an A change today? How in the world do you get so many trophies? How much do you play? I still haven't earned a trophy since the change - it has been nearly two months now. Even though I am still playing every day, I decided to go for a cash cow trophy this week and won one the first day. I still like the Goober Gets an A trophies better though.
I am getting more cash in the same amount of time. There are a lot more stickers, so I keep bringing down new rows and click on stickers which give a few more points, but they add up. I generally get in the 140 to 150 KC range before I get to the double digit level and get kicked out. I just can't go that fast and have not been able to get through that level. Before the change, I got in the 400 to 500 KC range, but it took a whole lot longer. I still liked the old way better.

OK, I just got my highest KC since the change 199 KC. Here is how I did it.
For the first row I chose high numbers to make the combinations - that seems to activate more stickers in the subsequent rows.
Then I started using low numbers to make combinations. The scoring is the opposite of before. Now a bunch of small numbers added together gives a higher score than 1 or 2 larger numbers added together.
I didn't worry about trying to combine stickers. Stickers still give a few more points, but don't give the big bonus if you combine them, so every time I click on a sticker, I drop new rows of numbers until another sticker comes up and then use it in combination with small numbers. If the top row is getting close to the very top, I clear the row before clicking down another row of numbers.
Once I got to the higher levels, I didn't worry so much about the stickers since it is moving so fast, I just used lots of small number combinations.
I hope this is helpful. If anyone else has any more hints let us know - Thanks Last edited by Momzkinza; 12-10-2008 at 09:29 AM.. If anyone else has any more hints let us know - Thanks Thanks for the PM. i posted something similiar in Commodore's sticky about the game. In regard to the stickers I do mine a bit different in that I just add rows until it is 1 from the top by this point I have 1 of each sticker and just do my first number that way and then click on all 1's as long as I can, then add rows till I am 1 from the top again and repeat the process. | | | 12-11-2008, 03:22 AM | #20 | Blessed to be a Gift Guru Join Date: Jun 2008 Posts: 5,693 | Re: Anyone else have Booger Gets an A change today?
