Anyone else have Booger Gets an A change today?

I was just playing Booger Get's an A and it is different. The numbers stay low for longer and the game gets a lot faster just a few levels into it. I normally earn 400 to 500 KC, but could only garner about 130 KC this time, but it did go a lot faster.

I can't decide if I like the change or not. I kind of like the challenge of adding the larger numbers to keep my mind keen. Hmmmmm??

No trophy, but it has been over a month and I usually play every day.

I liked it better the old way--maybe they wanted to keep it simpler for kids?

Well, except for making it go faster--that wouldn't help the younger set.

Anyway, I agree with you that it's definitely different, more difficult to earn bix $$, and faster.

Yes, much different. In addition to the change in progression of numbers (lower digits used a lot longer) and much higher speed, they have also removed the "trifecta" bonus (used to be 100 points for getting all three stickers in the same sum), and the number of sums does not seem to increase as quickly (which is actually a bad thing when you are waiting for a sticker).

I'm really amazed at the things they seem to think need "fixing." More bugs than a bait store, and they choose this?! Simultaneously trivialize the math (I don't see how very many players could progress to two-digit math at this speed) and increase the difficulty. Seems extraordinarily, and unsuprisingly, foolish.

I'm so sad. This used to be one of my big cash grabbers. It also helped me with adding higher numbers quickly in my head. Boo-hoo

Well, I was thinking I like it better. I usually quit after I get the first card full of stickers and the money adds up faster at the lower levels. It used to b3 about 50KC and now it's more like 70KC. I usually am trying to get a trophy, which I haven't seen in over a month either. I came here to see if there was information about there being no trophys by filliing the card only once. I sometimes could play to level 15 or 16 but when I did I never got the payout, it would either crash or log me out, so I play different now.

It does seem like the last thing they should be changing with all the other problems on the site.

for someone like me its actually good thing. I hardly ever did well in this game,.I maxed maybe 50!kc lol Not one of the games I excell at. Now today I actually thought it was me!! I did something different lol nope they changed the game,.so now I am able to make 100kc. It does go much faster. Im not sure I got the gist of the game before perhaps.

I have found quite the opposite. Without the 100 point bonus for getting all three stickers in the same sum, and with lower point values for lower sums (the points you get are a function of the average value of the blocks used in a sum, so you earn much more when the sums you must make are larger), my score after the first card (and therefore KC) is at least 30% less, and because of the speed, it is not possible to get into the high-scoring part of the game at all.

It's great if it is opening up trophy chances for more people, but if that was the only reason for the change, they could have given a trophy chance after every three or four checkmarks instead. Level 6 was always a bit of a surprising jump to two-digit math. I thought it was a bit mean.

this is 1 of my fav. games, when i played it today i thought it was another clitch, i did'nt like it as much , it's sad to find out that they changed the game, i liked adding with the higher numbers.....why change something when it works....they could have changed the amount of trophies you get ,more of them,......i'm curious how often trophies are awarded this way.....
