What do all the different colors mean?

When I buy extra packs and they have a rare die with different colors-does it do anything different?

Red - Unique, comes out of a pack that is special for each pet
Green- Rare, hard to get, you get one out of every starter, but I am not yet sure of the distribution so it may be that some rares which exist are only available in series two boosters
Yellow - Uncommon, somewhat hard to get, but you will get plenty if you buy a bunch of packs
Blue - Common, easy to get

They do different things in that each die is different. So, a green Cheeky Monkey die has different faces than a Red or Blue Cheeky Monkey die.

Generally the more rare the die is the more powerful it is, but that is not a hard and fast rule.
