Default Recover Glitch

Every time I play DiceKinz I use my Recover die. Whenever I try to recover a Face, it shows up as either a totally blank die or a die with 999 on it. But when I click on it to recover it, it comes back as a face. Now I'm pretty used to it, and I know that it doesn't actually come back as 999 Has anyone else experianced this strange glitch?

Yes, usually it's just blank. I just think it's suppose to be like that because there are a face in every die and the program just won't realize which is which. That's just what I think.

Default Glitched Recovery Graphics

This happens to me all the time. (I'd attach a screenshot as an example, but I'm apparently unable to add attachments at the moment...) Actually, ...I have NEVER seen a 'face' show up in the 'recovery' box as a real 'face'. For me, they have ALWAYS appeared as either a blank die, or as a "999" (growth or run or wild, etc.), or even as a BLOCK. Getting the 'blank' or a '999' isn't too bad, as you can tell for sure that it should be a 'face'. Getting a 'BLOCK' can be bad though, ESPECIALLY if you have a 'real' BLOCK in there too - then it becomes virtually impossible to tell which one is which...

I haven't done any research, but I've always assumed that when a 'face' goes into the 'rcovery bin', it pulls a 'random' side from that die to show instead of the 'face'. If it pulls an action side (run, trip, wild, etc.), then it shows that icon with the "999" value instead. If it pulls a 'BLOCK' side though, then it just shows the 'BLOCK' icon, ...which can get very confusing...

Oh well, ...even with the glitches, I still love DiceKinz.

Default More on Glitched 'Recovery' Icons

Well, ...for the record, my earlier assumption about the 'glitched' icons was incorrect. I thought that a 'face' that ended up in the recovery box was shown as a random 'side' from that die with the '999' value, if applicable. I discovered today that this is wrong...

In my most recent game, I saw a "BLUE CHEECKY MONKEY" shown in the recovery box as a "Growth-999". It also showed a RED UNICORN with the "Scare-999" icon. Blue Cheecky Monkey does not have a 'Growth' side, nor does Red Unicorn have a 'Scare' side. However, ...I was also playing with a RED POLAR BEAR dice at the time, and Red Polar Bear DOES have both a 'Scare' side and several 'Growth' sides, so...

I'm revising my theory a bit. I now believe that 'faces' will glitch and show up in the recovery box as a random 'side' from ANY of the dice in your current dice pool. If that random chosen 'side' is a Growth, Trip, Dodge, Wild, Run, or Scare, then it will have a value of "999".

Regardless of the icon shown in the 'recovery box', once you click it, it will return to your dice pool as the 'face' it is supposed to be...

For what it's worth.

...Just for reference, the die on the left was a RED UNICORN face, and the one on the right was a RED POLAR BEAR face. In the recovery box, they showed up in this game as a "Run-999" and a "blank", respectively...

...Wonkyness.
