How do I find people to play DiceKinz with?

Pardon my ignorance, but how do I find people to play DiceKinz with? I looked in the Tournament Arena, but I can't seem to find DiceKinz there. Is it possible to connect with people in the Clubhouse to play DiceKinz with? If so, how do I do that? (I know how to get to the Clubhouse, I just don't know how to start a DiceKinz game with someone I meet there.)

Hey there, welcome to WI.

Finding human opponents for DiceKinz is particularly troublesome. At one point it was in the tournament area, but people used the fact that the loser would win 20 KC to conceed out of games without actually playing. This meant it was a way for people to amass large amounts of income in a short length of time by being on both sides of that transaction.

The best way to do it now is to play with people you know. Anyone you have added to your friends list by using the walkie talkie looking thing will show up as a person you can invite to play DiceKinz with whenever you go to DiceKinz. So if you know people online already, you can add them to your friends list and then play agaist them. You can also go to the Kinzchat plus section of the Clubhouse (provided you have enabled that for your account) and see if anyone wants to play. You would then have to add them to your friends list and challange them in the DiceKinz area.

I know that is discouraging and perhaps not much help, but I spend many hours playing DiceKinz, and it is all against the computer. Perhaps they will find a better way to enable this in the future.

Another way of course is to advertise here. You could start a thread looking for other people to play against. This would likely take a lot of work and involve just putting your WW ID up there so others could add you and challenge you. Only do this if you have a very secure password.

I think it would be great fun to be able to hook up with other players to challenge them to games of Dicekinz in the Arena section again. Since the people on my friends list are rarely online when I am, I have to resort to playing against the computer whenever I want to play Dicekinz. That isn't always as much fun, since the computer obviously does not account for the possible human error when calculating strategy, as well as the fact that the computer seems to match the quality of dice pretty evenly to the real player's dice pool. Why can't the Ganz folks figure out a way to give no money to a player who does not finish the game?

Does your name mean that you are working on becoming environmentally concientious, or does it mean that you are new to either Webkinz or Webkinz Insider? At any rate, I'm sure you will enjoy your time here on WI. There are lots of interesting people to meet who all have a huge wealth of knowledge and experience for you to draw on when you have a question. Take a look at the FAQ's and the Rules of the WI site, which can be found at the blue banner at the top of the page, under the dog kicking the pumpkin and the bunch of pumpkins. When you are familiar with how the site works, start browsing through the threads and see if they answer your questions. If not, you can start a new thread under your topic. When you have posted 10 times, your titile will change from Lil'Kinz to Webkinz and you will be able to Private Message (PM) other members. That is more like a private e-mail through this web site and is not a public posting for all to see.

None of the people I know in real life who play Webkinz ever seem to be on-line at the same time as me, so I haven't managed to connect with any of them to play DiceKinz.

I have enabled Kinzchat Plus, but when I go to the Clubhouse area, the Kinzchat Plus "tree" says that it is closed. I have no idea why that is, I've been thinking of investigating!

I've only been playing Webkinz for a couple of weeks, so I'm still learning a lot of these things!

Partiallygreen is the username I chose on Webkinz when I created my account two weeks ago, mainly because I wanted to use something with the color purple in it, but "pur" seems to be on the list of forbidden words for some reason I cannot fathom. The idea behind it is that I'm reasonably environmentally conscious, though not as much as some people I know. For example, I have replaced paper towels in my kitchen with cotton washcloths, but I'm not averse to using a bit of chlorine bleach when that seems to be what's called for!

But I am also new to both Webkinz and Webkinz Insider. My daughter got a Webkinz for her fourth birthday at the beginning of the month, and I decided I needed my own Webkinz so I could figure out how it all worked.

You're welcome. I think that the Kinzchat plus section is only available when the Webkinz staff is available to monitor it. That would make it correspond roughly to EST business hours. I am by noooo means an expert on this though, that is just my guess/understanding. Others on the site will know way better than me about this issue.

The good news is that as fun as Webkinz is now, it should only get better as they work out some of the recent glitches.

Hi. I know that several others have replied to your post. I think you said you were new to webkinz, right? Recently Ganz has been removing games from the tournament arena that require two people.Have you tried changing zones? When I go on webkinz and there's nobody on the same zone as me, I just change zones to see if my friends are on the other zones. Also, here's a tip for dicekinz:Red dice are usually handy. My favorite red dice are the polar bear and the regular elephant.Maybe sometime we could play dicekinz against each other on webkinz. My webkinz username is Kohava . Good luck, PartiallyGreen!

I haven't been here long, but I'm having the same problem finding people to play Dicekinz with.

I have yet to catch the Kinzchat plus area open, so I've tried asking people in Kinzchat to play a game, but of course nobody has figured out they need to add me to their friends list to do that yet, so it hasn't really worked.

Partiallygreen, I hope you don't mind if I send a friend request to you. I'd PM you about it, but I don't have 10 posts here yet. It will come from my daughter's account (I don't have my own, but she's rather young to play the games so I play as her to earn her kinzcash... she mostly likes to shop). Hi, I just noticed a 'search' area at the top of My Page. You can put in a favorite game - like Dicekinz ( mine's Atomicolicious ) & push 'go' & it'll find others for you who have the same favorite. If you go to 'page' & 'add as a friend' you could find a group of people who might be interested & available to play!
