What you can place in the Target box will be different, depending on your Action die.
Block die can be used to avoid Face die and stop Fly
Dodge die can be used to avoid Trip, Scare and Blowback of equal or lesser value
Balance die can be used to avoid Stumble and Blowback
When both parties PASS, RUN phase starts.
Your pet will go forward the number of spaces on total value of the RUN die left over in your set.
If you have any dodge dice left at the end of the Jostle Phase your pet will be given 1 extra move forward in the Run Phase.
Thanks to LordRaidor for telling me about combining two trips together. Originally Posted by LordRaidor A very nice guide there Lion King. It provides an excellent summary of the game mechanics, and is a valuable learning tool for new players. Great Job. ^_^
It should also be worth noting that you can "combine" two smaller trip dice together (link here) for greater effect. ...Not frequently used, but it is always an option...
Anyway, thanx for compiling the screenshots and assembling such a nifty resource.
