Default DiceKinz Tips and Strategy

I have been playing DiceKinz for about 2 months, but I think I've got it down to a science now.

The best combination of dice is 3 Primary Growth Dice along with 3 Primary Wild Dice.

Here is how I have ranked them.

Top 5 Growth Dice
1. Red Polar Bear (Growth 4, Growth 4)
2. Red Gorilla (Growth 4, Growth 3, Wild 2)
3. Blue Gorilla (Growth 4, Growth 3)
4. Blue Black Bear (Growth 3, Growth 2)
5. Blue Tiger (Growth 2, Growth 2)

Top 10 Wild Dice
1. Red Unicorn (Wild 3, Wild 3, Growth 2)
2. Blue Cheeky Monkey (Wild 2, Wild 2, Wild 1, Wild 1)
3. Red Googles (Wild 2, Wild 2, Wild 2)
4. Yellow Alley Cat (Wild 1, Wild 1, Wild 1)
5tie. Green Cheeky Monkey (Wild 3, Wild 3)
5tie. Red Monkey (Wild 3, Wild 3)
7. Green Koala (Wild 3, Wild 1)
8. Blue Monkey (Wild 2, Wild 2)
9tie. Green Panda (Wild 2, Wild 1)
9tie. Green Lion (Wild 2, Wild 1)
9tie. Yellow Pug (Wild 2, Wild 1)

My Dice
Red Polar Bear
Blue Gorilla
Red Gorilla
Red Unicorn
Blue Cheeky Monkey
Red Googles

I have never lost with this combination. I usually win in 1-2 turns, 3-4 if the dice are rolling funny. You can make about 1500kc/hour playing DiceKinz with this combo.

DiceKinz Tips against the computer
- Evaluate your opponents dice to see what they are going to attack, as well as what defenses they have.
- Use your scare dice to reroll your opponents face dice dice.
- Use your scare dice to reroll your face dice (for Growths or Wilds).
- Allow your opponents scare dice to reroll your face dice.
- Only use your face dice to attack your opponent if you or your opponent does not have a scare dice that could reroll it.
- Wait to boost your wild dice with growth if your opponent may potentially reroll one of your face dice that could be a Wild.
- Lock a wild dice (before or after boost) if it is going to be removed.
- Lock a growth dice (only Growth 4) if you have no Wild to boost.
- Use the recover dice to bring back the best possible dice for you to advance.
- Don't waste a turn boosting a wild dice if you are already going to win with what you have.
- Don't waste a turn attacking your opponent if they have a defense. Unless you are just removing a paw print to use your 2nd face dice for attack.
- If your opponent prolongs games due to a highly defensive dice, do not do the rematch. If you find an opponent that you beat in 1-2 turns, rematch until you're bored or have a lot of KinzCash.

Good Luck!

Default Re: DiceKinz Tips and Strategy

I generally agree with what you have to say. Here are my minor disagreements or additions to what you say:

1) I prefer a lot of consistency in my dice so I have gone with 3 Blue Cheeky Monkey and 3 Red Polar Bear. This also has the advantage of being very easy to acquire. It has the further benefit of having three "low value" dice in that it has three blue dice which I think causes the computer to play a weaker selection of dice against me.

I am attracted to the Red Gorilla and Red Unicorn dice though, I would have to either think about it or try them out to decide for sure.

2) There is a common time that you need to use your face dice to attack. This is when your opponent has a face you need to kill and does not have a paw print to defend with. Attacking in this way often preemptively saves your wild die.

I do otherwise agree that it is critical to allow your opponent to scare your faces and to scare them yourself when applicable.

I am surprised that you have never lost. I have lost 3 or 4 times out of maybe a thousand matches. I think my loss rate is about 1 in 200. On the other hand, I am playing with three cheeky monkey dice, so I may just have more variability than you.
