How I Won a Cash Cow Trophy

I just won my first trophy a few minutes ago and just wanted to share the experience while it is still fresh in my mind. I'm so happy!!!!

I won in Level 1 by just clearing around 20 yellow bottles. A little window popped up immediately after I cleared the bottles stating that a "surprise" was waiting for my in my dock. I hadn't finished Level 1 yet when this message appeared.

First of all, I read all the previous posts and advice on this forum. With the sheer volume of information it was quite overwhelming but I stuck to the following principles that seemed to be consistent with all the posts:

1. FOCUS ON CLEARING ALL BUT ONE COLOUR
- when the game started yellow was the prominent colour so I focused on clearing the others colours

2. ACCUMULATE AT LEAST 20 BOTTLES OF THE SAME COLOUR
- this was a very important point. There appears to be a minimum number of bottles around 20 that you have to clear. Any number over it doesn't appear to increase your chances of a trophy.

3. ACCUMULATING MORE THAN 20 BOTTLES DOESN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE OR INCREASE YOUR ODDS
- I used to to clear a whole screen of the same colour of bottles in one click but was never awarded a trophy. The key is to clear around 20 of the same coloured bottles at a time. Don't save up for more than 20 (if you are aiming for a trophy). An anology is that you get a "ballot" to enter for a draw to win a trophy for every 20 bottles you clear. So the more groups of 20 you clear, the more ballots you get to enter in the draw and hence the greater probability of winning a trophy. If you are building bigger groups than 20 then you effectively submitting less ballots because the game/level will end sooner.

4. THE TROPHY IS GIVEN RANDOMLY IF THE ABOVE CRITERIA ARE MET
- even if you do the above, you are not guaranteed a trophy....it just makes you ELIGIBLE to win a trophy. I have read the odds are 1 in 100 so if you can clear about 5 groups of 20 bottles your probably should increase 5 hold.

5. DONT GIVE UP
- I really wanted to give up. I have been playing cash cow for years without winning a trophy and I always cleared more than 50 bottles at a time. It wasn't until I read all the great tips on this board last week that I won. Most important tip is just focus on clearing 20 bottles at a time.
