Thanks everyone for your enthusiam and contributions! BTW, I've added a tip about planning your landing position in the center - not a big discovery, but maybe helpful if it is not something you already do naturally, especially on higher levels.

According to the stats I've been collecting in another thread, you're on the fringes of the curve for sure - so you're due! It really bothers me that it is not 'earnable'. It should be random AND awarded on the basis of excellent play, or at least offer better odds for each successive spelling in a game. I don't enjoy the constant disappointment.

I keep hoping I will discover something that will improve the odds. If I do, it will be here!

I'm getting there too. I keep doing it though. Especially when its the game of the day. But man...its tough. At least I can play the game now. In the early days of me playing it...I'd get all irritated when the tree would start acting like it was about to sneeze. My nose would get itchy...my eyes would start watering and I'd feel like I was going to sneeze.



But I'm ready. Gosh I'm ready for that trophy.

williamson_39 -- I played again last night -- still no trophy, but I want you to know that I am going to change the post for m letters --

Level 9 (I had 7) I actually got 9 letters last night
(of course all "E")--needed a "G"
Level 10 I got 8 letters before dieing.

with the goo-goo berries festival coming up between 12/5-12/11/07 I will feel at least like I am getting something out of this obscession.

If you can change the head post to use the numbers I have revised in this thread it would be great -- that one was old figures and I have adjusted with level of playing I would be greatful we play it so often I don't want anyone to have the wrong info
