The trophy is not retired, but you only have a 1 in 400 chance of winning it each time you spell GOOGLES. This is easily the hardest random trophy to get. If you go to the Go Go Googles forum you will have a lot of company. There are a lot of people trying to get this trophy. Also check out these threads about random trophies:

The first one explains how to win the random trophies and the odds. The second one tells you how long it should take you to win a trophy. If you don't want a heavy dose of probablity theory, you might want to avoid the second thread for now.

I would love to get a GoGo Googles trophy too. I guess we will all just have to keep on playing until we randomly receive one.

I can say that Yes they are still avaiable I have just won my second one but I did play for like 6 hours straight getting 2 spellings of googles a game But hey The trophy looks great it is huge compared to the other trophys.
