Is this happening to anyone else?

When I am playing Zacky's Quest, and only with Zacky's Quest, there is a hesitation from the time I hit the key to move and when Zacky actually moves. Consequently, he winds up in the water or the bird's mouth or...you get the idea. My computer is new this past August and this is the only game this happens in. Anyone?

you might want the press the key lighter or harder or it gust might be the game.

This happens to me a lot and it shows up as a 'stuttering' effect, doesn't it?

I can press the key to move Zacky several times and he might only hop a few places. Sometimes he continues to jump after I'm finished pressing the key too, when pausing in front of a Wacky, mostly ending up getting clobbered. This happens often with the logs, too... many times I'm just moving towards the edge to jump off to get vegetables and it kind of blips him into the water when the log is at the edge of the grass.

I also notice the other enemies speeding up and slowing down in an erratic pattern.

This probably happens due the internet connection, though.... when the relay is slower because of the server activity, the refresh on the game you are playing is also slower. So you can tap the movement key 5 times and only 4 of them register... or vice versa... you tap a bunch and they ALL register in latency and send your guy into the drink.

Very annoying yes- but it's not really the game's fault... it's the internet connection. I have played in the middle of the night before and it works perfectly and I get very far in the game. Other times I play at 7pm or so (when a lot of other people are online) and I end up losing all my men before level 3.

One of these times I'll get it. I'm getting close.....

Here is a suggestion. I've commented on a few thread about a different browser named Opera. Although it is not my preferred browser for surfer for game playing in WW it blows Internet Explorer and Firefox away. The games are far smoother and play faster. Some games this may not be a good thing. In Zacky's Quest though my best finishing times are in Opera. My wife had a problem with Goobers Lab stuttering. In Opera it works just fine.

Has it happend once or alot of times because I think I know what is wrong if it just happend once. If it happened once there probably was a glitch or the game is getting so popular that Webkinz can't handle it so they stop some people from doing it.

What kind of computer do you have? If you have a Mac it was probably Webkinz' fault but if you have a PC it could be the computer fault but only doing it on one game probably means it is to crowded try going onthe game in the early morning or late night when not many people are probably on Webkinz.

When I play Zacky's it stutters too, but only on the first level or two. Maybe Webkinz does this on purpose to make it harder? Or maybe so few people player the last two levels that the server can handle it. At any rate, if you make it to the last level area it should be easier, because it won't stutter.

it doesent do that on my computer but i think it is kinda weird it would do that try restarting your computer but speaking of zackys quest i opened an account with just one webkinz and i earned a room full but then the account got stolen
