Well, I have finally regained the top score in Zacky's Quest.
A few months ago, I comfortably held on to the top score - hovering a few hundred above 39,000. Then, one day, there were two scores that were posted at 39,999 - both of them by names that have unreachable high scores in other games.
A few weeks after that, I put together a great game, scoring 40,015 - but it didn't count because there was a maximum score of 40,000 (or maybe 39,999) on that game. I complained to webkinz. Instead of reinstating my high score, they just raised the limit on the game.
So, today, I was playing again, trying to get a high score. The first time I played, I got around 39,600.
So, I played again and got 40,210. Then, I held my breath for the rest of the hour - not sure if the score would register. After 5 PM today, I went and looked - and there it was.
I am proud to have beaten those who cheat to post a legitimate top score -- one of the few that are actually on the all time high scores. __________________ Antigonus; “The Winter's Tale” “Exit, pursued by bear”

If nothing else, this gives added credibility to the tutorials I have posted. I don't keep secrets to getting the top scores - and I challenge anyone to go out there and beat my scores using my tips. As long as the scores are legitimate, I am happy (because legitimate scores mean that they are beatable.
