How do you get the really high scores

I finish Zingos Pop nearly every time I play. I normally get scores aroung 19500 - 19800. My high score is around 20300.

I've seen scores in the tournaments above 22000. How are these scores reached?

My guess is that you take a level with a lot of balls, wipe them nearly out, then wait for the level to kill a life. The level is done again. It seems at one point a ball, this method won't make up thousands of difference.

I played around with wiping out almost everything in the first couple of levels, and waiting for the top of the screen to reach the last level at the bottom. By time I lost the bonus seconds, the extra points for knocking out the extra balls was pretty much a wash.

I normally finish the game with three or more lives, so I can take some risks early on. Where do you guys take the risks?

HOW DO YOU ACTUALLY FINISH IT? I NEVER FINISHED IT FOR ALL THE TIME I'VE BEEN PLAYING.

It just takes practice, and some really sharp angles bouncing off the side walls.

The really hard levels IMHO are 9, 18, 25, & 30.

Levels 9 & 18 aren't really hard per se, but if you don't get your colors pretty quickly, you run out of room really fast.

It specifically talks about how to maximize your score.

My scores are about the same as yours. I usually finish us just shy of 20,000 and maybe once or twice I've gone over 20,000.

I think there might be some tips on getting higher scored in the tutorial by BjornTorunn at the top of this section but I'm not sure.
