Twenty-six Bounce N Burst trophies in something less than six hours (9, 5, and 12 trophies on three successive nights). I lost a few games during fits of madness.
My kids laughed themselves silly when they saw the numbers in their docks each morning. Excessive? Sure. Obsessive? No doubt. The funny part for me was that the first two nights were kinda half-hearted. If my tickler holds out, there's room for improvement.
Can anyone beat that?
I'll freely admit that there is something to be said for quality over sheer quantity. No high scores to be found here! But the KC spends the same way.
I'm off to find me a giant. I heard his name was Hamlet . lol | | | 11-03-2007, 08:47 PM | #2 | Gift Guru Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 1,212 | Re: The Brave Little Trophy Tailor I'm getting better. Still making costly mistake but winning trophies now. Best I've beaten a game was in 13-14 minutes. For me to be 26 in 6 hours I'd have to have my best game 26 games in a row so for right now I can't beat it lol | | | 11-06-2007, 09:56 AM | #3 | Gift Guru Join Date: Aug 2007 Posts: 2,503 | Re: The Brave Little Trophy Tailor Great!!! My daughter won one last night- and she was over the moon! Jumping and running all over the house!!!
Just out of curiosity, can you sell trophys in the W shop- and how much do they sell for? | | | 11-06-2007, 11:56 AM | #4 | Gifted Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 866 | Re: The Brave Little Trophy Tailor The BnB trophy sells for KC100. Between that and the game total of around KC140, it pays well for the shortest guaranteed (i.e., you get it for sure if you win) trophy game. Zingoz Pop is worth 200, but it takes almost an hour. Candy Bash is only 100 but is a nerve-wracking hour too. Zacky's Quest is not so long, also sells for 100.
To me the values are not well thought out. They really should pay more for trophies that are harder. Candy Bash should be worth a lot more. I'm not really interested in the trading thing personally, but most of the trophies appear to be worth more indirectly by trading for something you can sell for more, instead of straight to the W-Shop.
I recently finished my collection of all the currently available trophies. Candy Bash II eluded me for the longest. | | | 11-19-2007, 12:40 AM | #6 | Gifted Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 793 | Re: The Brave Little Trophy Tailor Originally Posted by williamson_39 I'm thinking of stitching a new belt for myself. You guys are missing the boat on those trophies. They are worth a lot more in trades than what you get for them in the W Shop. Check out this thread. http://www.webkinzinsider.com/forum/...es-t67134.html Last edited by thecowgurl; 11-19-2007 at 12:40 AM.. i always believe that the bounce 'n burst trophy is the easiest to win..
i have never won a trophy before. I always play bounce 'n burst over and over and over, and get so frustrated when I get to even level 13 and lose.
I am not good at talking about trophies and games.. Honestly, games aren't my thing (except luck games )
But.. I do know about Hamlet. Ah, 'tis the greatest gaming expert I have ever met. All I have to tell you is be sure to visit his/her (is it a guy or a woman, I still don't know!) site here: http://ant.igon.us - It is an AMAZING site with all the gaming info you need.. I love it with all my heart! | | | | 11-22-2007, 02:12 AM | #8 | Gifted Join Date: Oct 2007 Posts: 866 | Re: The Brave Little Trophy Tailor Thanks for the comments and interest everyone. Now that my kids are pretty much fully stocked, I'm considering offering trophies for trade as recommended by thecowgirl, but I want to keep it simple - I don't have much time, we don't have much need, and I'd rather be playing. | | | 11-22-2007, 02:38 AM | #9 | She's a Grooooovy Gift Guru Join Date: May 2007 Posts: 12,195 | Re: The Brave Little Trophy Tailor I trade mine for 1 or 2 oak pools But I'm not eager to trade them I'm just going to save them because one day - one day - one day they will be worth a lot
