At least I'm not a Webkinz :) Join Date: Mar 2009 Posts: 2,411 | Polar Plunge Tips Here are a few tips for Polar Plunge... Hope they help! SPEED How fast you go depends on which course you're on, and what your intent is. If you're trying to make KC, then going faster will accumulate more points, which means more KC. If you're trying to finish the course, go a bit slower. EXPERIMENT If you're trying to get to the end of a course, the old saying applies: Practice Makes Perfect. Obviously, you aren't going to get to the bottom on your first try (Well, you might, but probably not). Decide which course you're going to try, then stick to it. Repeat it over and over, making mental notes of all the places where you need to slow down, speed up, or do special maneuvers. The more you try, the better you will get! OBSTACLES Some obstacles will slow you down, and others will make you crash. Here is a list I've comiled of all the obstacles I've ever encountered, and how they will affect you: - Regular snowmen (with pink or brown hats): As long as you are going fast, these will only slow you down. If you're going slowly, these will make you crash. -Snowmen with brooms: These will make you crash, if you hit them head on. Sometimes, if you fall directly on top of their head, and you're going fast, they will only slow you down. -Tree stumps, trees, and igloos: All three of these will make you crash Well, that's all the tips I have for now! Thanks so much for reading, and feel free to post any other tips you have. |
