My poor little Inukshuk has gone down Polar Plummet so many times that he's worn a hole in the bottom of his sled and those two dang trees (I'm sure you all know the ones I'm talking about) get him every time! Please, someone, tell me a way to get past them! I've tried going fast and going slow. Nothing works.

Well, unfortunately, it's pretty much the luck of the draw. If they're close together, it's an easy jump. If there are a couple of inches between the trees, well better luck next time.
I did find out tonight that the down arrow will make you drop fairly quickly. What I normally do is hit the moguls before the snowman at top speed and jump the snowman. I want to have some inirtia going in case the trees are somewhat close together. If there's at least two of the polar bear's saucer diameters between the trees, I hit the left arrow to slow down, and then the down arrow to drop even quicker. That way you can jump again quickly.
Those trees are tough, but tougher still is the next series of jumps to get past that igloo on the shelf. I made it past that one twice tonight, but I'm still working on that timing.
Good luck. | | | 06-03-2008, 01:53 PM | #3 | Gifted Join Date: Dec 2007 Posts: 3,483 | Re: Please Post Your Secrets For Getting Past Those Two Dang Trees!! I'd recommend looking at the course three guide for a better explaination, but here is my advice. If the trees are close to together jump. If they look like you can't clear them in one jump then press the left arrow and jump. then proceed to jump over the next tree. Get ready for what is next, because it gets really hard form that point on. __________________ (Currently trying to come up with brilliant words to put in my signature, that probably won't be) | | | 06-03-2008, 04:02 PM | #4 | haley57540 Webkinz :) Join Date: May 2008 Posts: 150 | Re: Please Post Your Secrets For Getting Past Those Two Dang Trees!! I don't know about you but when two trees are close together but to far apart for one jump I have learned how to jump EXACTLY when you hit the ground. but that doesn't always work out. . . .

Good luck. Thanks, I never even thought of using the down arrow! I'll have to give that a try. Since I posted this, I have gotten past the trees a few times. Just luck, I think. LOL! And you are right, the rest of the course is hard! It's a good thing that I have a PP trophy that I got through trading, because I don't think I'll be completing that course any time soon.

Thanks! It's strange, I've learned how to do that in other places but, for some reason, can rarely do it with the trees.

I think it is posted there are 4 patterns but I seem to think there are 5. The first 2 are tighter together and easy to jump. The 3rd is tough to jump both in the browsers I play (now Firefox 3, Previously Opera) but I can usually clear by slowing down to jump over the snowman and then approaching slowly until i see the tree. If it is the 3rd pattern I speed up and quickly hit the left arrow then right again before I jump. This allows a little further jump. The 4th pattern I have to jump a ways before the first tree in order to land between them and jump over the second. The 5th is similar to the 4th only further apart and much easier. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off
