Every time I play, I think of how to get several educated guesses in just a few trys, & move on to the next level. The first 10 levels are like a "rehersal" for the higher levels. There are no repeated numbers in lev 1-10, but after that, there could be 2 or more of the same number in the answer. Here are the number of tries you have at each level, along with the lenth of the number:
level --number of tries--how many digits in the answer
1-- 12--3
2 --11--3
3 --10--3
4--12--4
5--11--4
6 --10--4
7---12--5
8 --11--5
9 --10--5
10--11--6
11--11--3
12 -10--3
13-- 9--3
14-- 8--4
15 -10--4
16 --9--4
17 -11--5
18 -10--5
19 --9--5
20 --9--6
21---9--3
22---8--3
23---7--3
24---9--4
25---8--4
26---7--4
27---9--5
28---8--5
29---7--5
30--?---6
And so , you can see, the number of tries gets fewer as the levels progress. To practice for your sucess in lev 20 & 30, ask someone to think of a 6 digit number, and you get 9 or 8 guesses. With these games we don't always get a lot of practice on the higher levels, as it takes some much time to get to a higher level. So this is my plan for improving my game.
I enjoy this game, & win a trophy about every 3-6th try. I welcome questions. I'm here to help you suceed! Here are some tips:
*always remember there could be 3 or more digits of a single number in the higher levels
*when you don't guess, learn from that experience to help you improve next time
*make certain of 1 or 2 numbers in the answer by filling in with numbers you know are not in the answer. When you find the correct number & position of 1 or 2 numbers, frequently the position of the other numbers can logically be determined. (See the tutorial from Hamlet above)
So enjoy, & I'd love to help you suceed! |
