to play oeration gumball you're trying to guess a secret code. every time you guess the machine will give you a ball for every correct number it the balls are red it means there is a right number but in the wrong spot if the ball is green it means its the right number and in the right spot. now if you typ 123 in and it gives you 2 red balls it means only two of the numbers are right but they aren't in the right spot.. so you go on to try to find what the third number may be and then play around with them and hopefully you guess the right number and go on to the next level its easier to try this on easy level until you get the hang of it since the higher levels add more balls hope this helps you a bit and good luck

its sorta like hangman with numbers. you guess some numbers and if you get some righ it will give u a green ball but if u get it wrong a red and if its right but misplaced a yellow...do u get it now...im not that good at explaining things

oh wait thats wrong if u get it right however many numbers you get right is how many green balls will turn up and if its misplaced its a red ball

it has alot of helpful hints .. and you can maybe print it out and have it in front of you and then you'll be a master at the gumball machine in no time... good luck

I start off with numbers like 012, then I try 345, and then 678 and so on. If you get one number right each time, just try another combination of those numbers. It sounds really hard but once you get it once, it will become much easier! Good luck! Ex: if you type 123 and you get 1 green ball, try 111 and if you don't get any green balls, try 222 and if you still don't get any, you know the 3 was right. Does that make sense?? Hope that helped a little. Keep practicing.

Read the tutorial in the Operation Gumball Section basically you want to be checking no more than 2 numbers at a time to see whether they are in the answer or if they are then if they are in the right spot. Although on the 3 digit numbers you can try 3 numbers at time, doing that in 4,5,6 places will not be as effective for you. The tutorial explains things much better than I can but here is a typical game with 3 digits
