How do i play this game i dont get it!?

Hi. I once started to play operation gunball and i couldn't get the directions and i also just tried playing when i didn't get anything and i really want to find out how to play this game.please help meh out!

You type in numbers to guess.
I'll show you an example.

Let's say the number is 736.

At first you type in 872. You would get a red ball. That means that you got one of the numbers right but it isn't in the right spot. You don't know the number though.

Then, you type in 189 to test the 8. You do not get any gumballs.

Then you type in 793. You get a green ball, because the 7 is in the right spot. You also get a red ball because there is a 3, but it's not in the right spot.

Now, you can put in 73_ and put any number at the end until you finally get it right.

That's how operation gumball works. I hope I helped a little!

I am not very good at this game, but I do have a small tip that I think helps: when I am just starting to guess, I use every number in order. For example, first I will guess 012. Next I guess 345, then 678. For my next guess, I will use 9 and two numbers from the previous guesses that got either red or green balls. The reason I do them in order is so that I know I didn't miss a number. Hope this helps and good luck!
