Yes, the game ends after level 30. The trophy is random though - you can get it after any level, and although your chances improve at higher levels, there is no guarantee even after completing level 30.

I did some research and calculations on the odds and thought it might be interesting. Your chances of winning the trophy after level one are about 1 in 900. After level 30 they're 1 in 5. In between they improve steadily.

That sounds pretty cheap, but if you realize that you have a chance after EVERY level, your overall chances at the trophy aren't bad. If you can finish the entire game (which is hard, and you have to be lucky, not just logical!) your overall chances at winning the trophy at some point are about 1 in 2!

But level 20 is often the point that ends my game. So I also calculated your chances if you normally only finish level 19. They're about 1 in 20 of getting the trophy at some point during that kind of game.

If you're careful and take time to understand the deduction required to figure out the numbers, you can finish level 19 most games without having to be lucky. Which means that the trophy is very achievable, in a reasonable number of attempts.

Check out Hamlet's tutorial in this forum. He has a couple of strategies and lots of great examples. It's worth looking at his "advanced" version too - the word may be intimidating, but the logic is more efficient and it is really not any more complicated.
