So... yes. I have decided to make a thread with a collection of Valentine's Day poems, which we can see from the title of the thread. Anyway, the more people who post, the more poems I write and put on this post, so post away, people!

I gave him a rose
(It was really my heart)
I watched as he laughed
And tore it apart

Now I’m left cold
Empty and hollow
My dreams have been shattered
Nothing left to follow

(okay, this is one I'll be adding to for a while. Any time I think of another line or verse, I'll add it. IDEAS APPRECIATED. Post 'em, pm 'em, post 'em on my profile... you get the idea. )

Hold the One You Love Near
Resolve not to Shed a Tear
How will you spend this love-filled day?
Happy and Silly
Smelling a Lily
Watching Your Crushes
Or Washing Your Crutches
The choice is yours; so don’t delay
Singing Praise to the Lord
Eating a Gourd
Staple your Finger
Laugh at Memories that Linger
And you’ll have the greatest Valentine’s Day!

"This isn't right"
A voice tells me
"This is so right"
You reassure me
It's like warm milk
Your voice, to me
It heals my wounds
Solves my tragedies
Next thing I know

It's over
And I'm left standing in supreme wonder
I never knew I could feel
So guilty and happy
At the same time
I want you to be
Forever mine
But at the same time...

Those are great poems! The first 2 that you posted was realing showing your emotions when a guy broke up with you. It touched my heart! Keep writing!

Thanks! Actually, I've never had a breakup. I just write how I feel. Although I have had a sort of breakup, I guess, and this one dude sort of haunts my memories, but I've never offically broken up with someone.

Weird. I've had a few boys, but I don't have any now. And that's pretty weird about the haunting memory thingy. So are you working on a poem? I have a few ideas: You can do one on all the candy that you get. Or maybe first kiss... I don't know. I just like came up with it.

Yes, haunting memories are creepeh... especially since sometimes I think he's a jerk and I hate him, other times I cry 'cause I miss him so much. *sigh* Ah wellz. I'll get crackin' on that poem!
