Great tips.LOVE the 5-2-2 method.I just started a story called 'Now What?'. I've only written the first chapter so ill be sure to use these tips all throughout my story.

I do a lot more than 5 adjectives each chapter, dunno about adverbs, but similes . . . most
occasions none in a chapter. Maybe one every five. I gotta work on that . . .
